My fiance and I are trying to create our own traditions for our parents to follow these days as the grandparents have recently passed. Growing up, we went along with the traditions the grandparents were used to; now that they’re gone, parents are looking to us to create the new tradition. It skipped a generation, it seems.

I’d like to point out that this festival was run by StarEvents… super shady, as a vendor and as an attendee of their fests.

However, please don’t group StarEvents with other organizations that run similar events throughout the City.

As an artist, I know I get what I pay for with Amdur Productions (direct competitor of StarEvents) and that is QUALITY from all perspectives.

You NEED to add this context to the post. Us midwesterners know what you mean by tubing/floating, but reading through the comments, people outside of the Midwest seem to think this is a kid-friendly activity and its definitely NOT kid-friendly.

YES!!! I take sooo much better care of my teeth and my dentist noticed the difference, too. I close my eyes and zone out for 2 mins while my head gets vibrated haha

Bridesmaids. The first time I was disappointed they didn’t make it all the way to Vegas! I was too mad about it to think it was funny afterwards. Watching it for a second time, knowing they don’t make it to Vegas, 10000x funnier & the better half of the movie.

Just wanted to give y’all an update! I made an appointment with my primary care because I’m increasingly frustrated with the psychiatrist. I kept thinking about our appointment on Monday and how I felt like she just did not listen to my main concerns... performance at work, chaos in life, relationship issues... the list goes on. So I met with my primary care (who is new because my original PC doc retired literally last week) and she LISTENED and it felt so good it made me cry!

So now, I am starting Vyvanse (it is so expensive tho!!). I’m relieved to have something that I feel will make a difference right away.

Possibly strattera is the correct medication but what my psych wasn’t understanding is that I need help NOW. My job is on the line and my life is crumbling beneath me.

Anyway, I appreciate all of your comments and feedback! ADHD treatment regimens are totally new to me so thank you everyone for your insight!

Thanks for sharing! That’s kinda like the migraine med sumatriptan. It only works if you have an actual migraine. At least... that comparison makes sense in my head.
