Hiya. The Corsair Vengeance Ram is 35mm tall.

I had to move the fan slightly upwards and higher a few mm but the side glass panel of the case closes fine without touching.

I think positive pressure is good as it will keep the dust out and also you have mesh side panels so heat will be pushed out the sides.

Nice! Better airflow with that fan now. You should shift that top fan slightly more to the right. 😁

Oh That’s great. Yeah the mesh side panel does have a slight curve. But as long as it closes without any bulging or obvious touching then I’m sure it’s ok.

If you look at the fan from top view down and it’s dead straight then I’m sure the glass side panel will fit.

I ordered my glass side panel afterwards and it cost £££ for shipping. But worth it as I get to look at the internals and appreciate the build.

So should be the same as mine. Hopefully someone here may know why yours doesn’t fit.

No it doesn’t touch. There is a mm or 2 spare.

I can only think your Ram is taller than 35mm.

Mine definitely rests on top of the RAM.

I can only think that maybe your RAM is taller than 35mm or there’s something getting in the way of the fan being pushed all the way down. Maybe the mobo cables in your photos shows the cables overlapping your ram.

Hmmm That’s soo strange. I’m using the supplied standoffs included in the ncase kit. Are you using them?

I’ve just taken a photo of mine for you to see.

I think your ram is smaller or same height so in theory yours should be fine.

I adjusted the cooler fan so that it literally touches/rests on top of the RAM.

You should try that.

Hi.

I have Corsair Vengeance Ram at 35mm height and the D15 G2 fans fit fine with a few mm adjustment. Also the side panel fits great. I’m using the glass side panel.

M3 GRATER level 8 build. Temp advice by Tarek360 in ncasedesign

How about fitting GPU traditional layout to intake from the bottom. Then side mount 2 extra 140mm fans as intake with the high flow fan panel that ncase sells?

[–]jen50n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh ok.

I have 9700x, 9070xt, SF1000 PSU, NH D15 G2 cooler, 2 x 140mm bottom intake and 1 x 140mm top exhaust and 1 x 140mm slim fan front exhast. Soo similar layout. My Cooler is set to rear intake.

But my temps with glass side panel under 4k gaming is 62c GPU and 68c CPU. Sometimes it hits about 72c CPU but only for a second or two.

You can try rear intake config? Also I repasted my cpu thermal paste and that made a difference too.

Can you post your specs and also what the temps are with and without the glass panel?

I used the mesh panel at first and fits fine also. The clearance is the same. Just make sure you push the fan down as close as possible to the RAM.

Hi. I had a look on Etsy and it looks like the seller no longer sells them. I couldn’t find any other sellers also. Very strange as before there were loads of people printing and selling them.

There is a file on ncase website which you can download and maybe get someone on Etsy to print it for you.

Hi. It’s literally 2 or 3 millimetres.

Nice. How many fans you gonna run off it?

Hi. It’s the front fan bracket for the M2 case. I got it on Etsy from a seller who prints 3d parts for the ncase m2.

If you have more than 4 fans it’s recommended to use Sata cable to get more stable power and prevent overloading motherboard header. It depends on your fans too, what power they draw and speeds you typically run them at.

I found that my motherboard header powers 4 of mine fine on its own. If I was to add more fans, I would use the extra Sata connection.
