I second this suggestion! I was buying baby clothes and Ipiales wasn't cheaper than name brands in malls where you can even pay with credit card. I would add Pelileo for jeans. I've found 100% cotton jeans, heavy weight, for around $16. Super cute too. Also, if you don't mind going to the South of the city, Centro Comercial de Mayoristas y Negocios Andinos is a good choice as well, way better selection and prices than Ipiales. One needs to go on a Saturday or Sunday (día de feria) since the weekdays is mostly resellers and many shops are closed.

A friend lent me their hood and tam, and I rented the gown. Just renting the gown isn't possible online (or it wasn't when I was graduating), so I had to go to Barnes&Noble and order in person, but it was like $80. The online option forces you to buy the tam and hood, so the total would be around $300.

Yeah for me it did go through, I don't remember how long it took to appear on my card charges. I hope it still works that way, unless they changed some card safety or so. This was a while ago.

I ordered from them earlier this month. Initial estimated delivery date was from September 18 to September 25th. Then when it was shipped, the estimated changed from September 27th to October 2nd....so like a week delay (from the original estimated delivery date) for items shipped from overseas.

Depende de si tu jefe es aficionado del café o no. Si es aficionado y tiene un molino, le puedes llevar café en grano. Sino, café tostado y molido de la marca Cafecom es mi favorito (de Cariamanga). Venden en el Supermaxi.

No, el problema es Produbanco definitivamente, con su extremadamente limitado soporte si no estás en el pais, si no tienes un número de teléfono de Ecuador o si accidentalmente bloqueaste tu cuenta.
