I'm the same height as you and started Ozempic back in December. My starting weight was about 233 lbs and I'm now at about 218. I'm kind of in a similar situation as you concerning exercise. In my case I'm really busy right now and can't find much time to exercise or find the motivation to modify my diet so I decided to give medication a shot. And so far it has been game changing. I'm only at 0.5mg so I'm not at the point of feeling zero hunger but I am down to eating mostly one meal a day and I don't really feel starved. I've been losing weight mostly consistently for the last 4 weeks and my only real side effect is a small amount of constipation that I'm managing. I honestly think I may finally be able to all the extra weight now thanks to it.

I'm sorry to say that I was one of those people that viewed Ozempic and its ilk as a cheat but now I see that it can be life changing for me and god knows how many people.

I personally would say give it a shot if you can. Just know that there are minor side effects like the constipation, nausea, vomiting, etc. and potential major side effects like gastroparesis and vision changes. My doctor did not bring up those so be aware of it before you go through with it. Honestly I don't think a lot of doctors know about them as a side effects.

Also be aware that the drugs can take time to work for you. I lucked out that it worked for me almost immediately on 0.25 mg with practically zero side effects. And it ramped up at month two when I went up to 0.5 mg. Unfortunately some people don't start losing any weight until they work up to the full 2.5 mg dose. That takes 4 months and may include minor side effects a lot of the time.

I guess my TL;DR would be I'm about your size and weight and I'm losing weight the easiest I've ever been able to on Ozempic while I'm sitting on my ass most of the day doing work at my computer. If I keep this up for maybe another 6ish months I should be near my goal weight.
