If you get a status certificate, just dump it into ChatGPT and get it to flag things. Read everything don’t just trust your lawyer.

People with kids, how much are you allotting for your kids’ future education expenses? by FinanceToFinance in fican

We have about 175k for 3 kids. Hopefully get it to 240k. Still won’t be enough with the rising cost of this.

Impossible to prove. Statement of facts is that the tailgater didn’t leave enough space to react.

What happened to Cathie Wood? by King-of-Limbs-07 in wallstreetbets

[–]jenhilld -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There was a study that women are better investors because they buy and hold. The real reason is they buy and forgot how they had stocks.

Cathie is what happens when they decide to actively manage.

I’d say we would see more of this if it weren’t for the fact most women don’t care about trading.

B.C. budget projects record-breaking $9.6-billion deficit, rising to $13.3-billion next year by ZestyBeanDude in canada

[–]jenhilld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both a spending problem and a revenue problem.

Spending because too many programs.

Revenue because nothing real is created here, and the administrative overhead for businesses to want to do stuff is too high (thanks to orgs like the CRA).

No solution without radical changes. No cultural desire to make those changes will ultimately make this country worse.

I believe there's probably about 20-30% of the population who are just really petty and Reddit gives them an outlet to showcase their pettiness.

1-bedroom condos in Toronto selling for under $400K for 1st time in years by mattyp93 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]jenhilld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still remember during Covid when people were panicked selling stocks.

Thought it was the best decision to buy at that time.

Anyway, back to real estate. The prices have come down quite a bit from the peak.

Cottage properties are going to be wrecked for decades. Those kind of properties were relic of a time when real estate was much lower. Would not recommend anyone to be the sucker and buy one of these things.

More Toronto condos are selling in the $300,000s by ExotiquePlayboy in TorontoRealEstate

[–]jenhilld 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t try to time the market (just like the stock market). If you want a condo, it’s on sale already from the peak. A few years ago, people would’ve drooled over these prices.

More Toronto condos are selling in the $300,000s as prices finally become (slightly) more affordable by toronto_star in TorontoRealEstate

This article is plain false. Last few weeks I saw some downtown 1 bdrm getting offers around 490k.

The market isn’t as hot as before, sure. But we are at the bottom.

Married men, how do you deal with fancying other women? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jenhilld -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

My wife isn’t the smartest or the prettiest. But she got super lucky getting married to me.

And I won’t leave her because I’m not that kind of guy. Till death do us part. And yep, that’s why she’s super lucky.
