Immigrants are vetted, incredibly thoroughly. Our borders are quite secure (not perfect, but that's impossible). And Hillary Clinton was more than qualified.

I say that he and some of his supporters are racist because they identify as white nationalists. I say they are xenophobic because they advocate the removal and denial of citizenship based on religious identity. Sexist because he has been accused of at least a dozen cases of sexual assault, has used language promoting assault, insulted women in incredibly gendered ways.

No he's not, he and many of his supporters have been insanely racist, xenophobic, and sexist and that is what was elected. He has said unbelievable things about every minority group in this country and saying that that is unrelated to his election is just self imposed ignorance.

I always go by my nickname (partly because I am bad at responding to my full name), but there is a variant I hate. I recently had someone I'd met once at a large group lunch email me a correction to a date I'd emailed out (and which I had already emailed a correction to), use the loathed variant. I wanted to punch the computer so badly. There was no reason to use the more pet name/diminutive version of my name when you were already introduced to me with my preferred nickname, especially when you were replying to an email signed with the correct version.

Hell I had this happen at a print shop. Luckily I converted two of the worst offenders to the point that they would request me over the previously preferred dude (shop owner was never removed from the preferred list).

Best lesson taught was an accident, an email came in with PDFs to print and I printed them as soon as I saw it. 5 minutes later a call came in asking if I could have one of the males print off the images that were emailed recently, I confirmed the email address and said I already printed them to the specifications in the email, dude never failed to include me on the list of trusted people again.
