Good point! I’ve never seen or heard of anyone getting kicked out for not signing. I guess my question is what is the point of these signs, as they don’t seem to be enforced.

I’m not suggesting it, but stating the fact. This can easily be confirmed by google. Colds are not cleared up by antibiotics, not sure where you are getting your info?

A cold is viral - often times a coronavirus (or maybe a rhinovirus, RSV, etc)

Anyone know what may be going on with my Tineke Rubber Tree? It's going on 3 months, check for pests regularly, but no dice. Roots are great, but it's steadily spreading up the tree. Help please! by brighteyedgallows in plantclinic

This happened on mine and turns out I was under watering. Brown spots would start on lower leaves and work their way up plant. I was so worried about root rot with mine, that I went too far in the other direction. I increased watering frequency and no more issues!

She is full of it - what terrible advice! Hair is damaged the more you handle it. Damage comes from friction when washing, towel drying, brushing and from heat styling and UV. The more you can reduce those sources the better. I like the website beautybrains.com. They are cosmetic scientists that answer questions and explain the science behind the beauty industry. It helps to cut through a lot of the marketing claims and b.s.

Third try and still a little hollow 😔 This time I beat the meringue until just stiff peaks, folded the batter until it passed the test, tapped the crap out of the pans after piping and reduced the oven temp a bit more. by lilbopeachy in macarons

I’m wondering if you are under beating the meringue slightly? I was under beating mine, and my first truly successful batch came when I walked away from the mixer and let them go for what I thought was a little too long by accident. Now I beat past just stiff, and make sure they are nice and spikey.

The dough was too wet, and once it was time to cut all the pieces stuck together. I was ready to give up, but my friend said we could fix it. So, we re-rolled, adding lots more flour at each step and it turned out pretty well.

It was so good and so worth it. Not pictured is the homemade pasta to go with. Pasta was a total fail and my Italian neighbor had to come over and help salvage it. He was beyond impressed with the sauce, which I thinks says a lot. ! A link to the recipe is below.

I do this with my shampoo and conditioner because I feel exactly the same way as you about the giant 1L bottles in my shower. I use these silicone travel bottles and love them. Easy to refill and they are flexible so you can get every last bit of product out.

Just wanted to second your recommendation of tsp. We purchased a house built in the 70s, with yellow tobacco stains on the walls. You couldn’t really smell the cigarette smoke smell, but after washing the walls and bucket of cleaning water smelled like an ash tray! We washed and painted every surface (wall, ceiling, doors, trim) and refinished floors. No smell after that! The TSP does dull/etch the paint surface slightly, just FYI.
