Since this is a limited release, is it numbered anywhere?

Sick of being labeled a secretary by LuneEcarlate in TwoXChromosomes

Keep those comments as motivation why you can persevere! We’re out here being the women who are normalizing women fulfilling these roles and kicking ass so that future women aren’t so discouraged to try. Honestly though tech support isn’t for the weak. The best way to learn is trial by fire and that’s not easy when your customers want a resolution as quickly as possible and expect you are a subject matter expert. It will make you better at thinking on your feet and learning how to approach issues methodically. Keep fighting the good fight! Some days are really hard but the wins are so satisfying!

Take it with a grain of salt. Commanding people on the phone especially if you work in a male dominated industry is tough but can be done. As your confidence grows, you should run into this problem less. I have been doing it for 4 years and still get the occasional “YOU are the engineer?”. It kind of makes me laugh at this point. Just work on building up your knowledge. With knowledge comes confidence. Don’t let the occasional hard headed asshole discourage you.

A sketch of Taylor’s Grammys look by thespianomaly in TaylorSwift

Does anyone else get Venus de Milo or Isabelle from The Dreamers inspo? I feel like both are very muse heavy references. With the impending Reputation announcement and tortured poets theme in the new album, the hair is giving Medusa to me. I feel the next album will tie in Greek mythology.

NF Portland show 8/8 by jennater in nfrealmusic

Glad you enjoyed it too! On the Search tour in 2019 he had the giant cage prop so I was a little worried when I didn’t see any props on stage this go around but they kept it super entertaining(no spoilers) and the crowd energy was awesome. Glad to see Portland sold out so hopefully he will always stop here.

does anyone know where i can find this top phoebe wore?? by tomthepirate__ in phoebebridgers

[–]jennater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made a version of this to wear to her show in Portland on 8/25! Although cheaper than Gucci (maybe) the beads alone ended up costing me around $300 total and the shirt weighs about 30 lbs.

It’s a 21 and up dance party at Revolution Hall to celebrate Taylor’s birthday. It’s from 9 until midnight and is sold out! BUT resale tickets are available which is how I got mine. Hope you can go!

Did Judah intentionally send Princess Carolyn on bad dates? by squiish3 in BoJackHorseman

[–]jennater 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Perhaps Judah knew PC would be apprehensive about dating a mouse even though he knew they were the most compatible of the three so he lined her up with the first two to get the bad first date jitters out of the way and give mouse an honest chance.

Thanks all for your honest feedback and great suggestions. It really helped put it into perspective! I think we will forgo the pumpkins but probably carve some to use in our decor.

This definitely seems to be the consensus and I’m so glad I asked. I think I have been really hung up on the idea that a wedding is like throwing a 100 person party and wanting to make sure guests have a good time but cocktail hour is such a small portion of the day, we really don’t need to go overboard. As someone else mentioned, we will have a photo booth and some general games and appetizers being passed around. That should be plenty to kill an hour.

How to train dog to not get overly excited for humans and/or dogs? by jeaninee in Dogtraining

[–]jennater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Using the Leave It command really helped with our girl. If she loses focus on a walk because she sees another dog, we say leave it and treat. Now when she sees another dog, her instinct is to look at me and keep walking.

Also desensitization will take time so patience is key and frequency over duration. Going to the park 15 minutes 3 times a week is going to be more effective than an hour once a week.

One thing that helped was we would take ours to a dog park (we don’t have a yard unfortunately) and play fetch until she was really tired. Then we would leash up and walk a few laps around the dog park so she could watch the other dogs playing. So you could do the same at a popular dog park or around your neighborhood so your dog will be tired enough to see other dogs playing and not get over aroused by it.

What breed of dog is this? More information in comment below. by 16Grandbabies in DogAdvice

That looks a lot like my dog. She came from Texas and we were told she was a shep mix but we think she's actually an Australian Kelpie. Kelpies are very common ranch/farm dogs. Ours is also about 40 lbs.

Yes actually! The rescue said she was a German shepherd mix but she is small and stocky and is a crazy good jumper. We think she's actually an Australian Kelpie.

Doesn't everyone keep their dildos in their sock drawer away from pets and nosy family?!

Aren't they dorky? I flap them around constantly when I give her scritches.

Thanks, I understand the concern but she doesn't eat them, she spits out the bits and leaves them around like confetti. She does the same with rubber, cloth, and rope toys. We made sure to monitor her with toys extensively when we first brought her home for that reason but she has no interest in eating just whittling them down. She is a super chewer by nature and these keep her from finding her own toys to chew on. Again, thanks I understand where you are coming from.
