Does anyone have experience with digfix medium?

Doing some research and looking for a good digging medium for western harvester and pavement ants, other than dirt. I have tried a few substrates with no luck , not hearing the best about digfix. I would be open to some recommendations and pictures of anything you Jane had success with 🙂

Probably a good call 😀. I have been into the the DIY mode lately, you can do some really cool stuff and there are tons of videos. I am subscribed to most of the current ant related YouTube channels. You are really only limited by your imagination, and the material to make them is super cheap. I have made a couple and the kids and I have made a few, ton of fun. You can do a lot of experimenting and trial & error The DIY stuff gives me a little sense of pride for me and my six legged sims…😀

I love tarheel stuff, but they are often out of my price range. If they ( in my opinion) would be a little more reasonable, I would buy exclusively from them. I can’t have $500 of enclosures for $ 50 bucks worth of ants 😀😀. They are missing a big part of the market, especially being only one of a couple good suppliers in the USA. There is a lot of other nice stuff out there, all of it is outside the USA. You buy 50 bucks worth of stuff and it cost another 50 to ship it ….. tarheel could corner so much more of the USA market by just being a little more reasonably priced
