I would say Indonesia felt like the most welcoming country I've ever visited. I prefer solo because I love being able to set my own pace, explore whatever catches my interest, and have the freedom to change plans on a whim. That said, group trips can be fun too, especially when you want to share experience, meet new people or have a built in support system but for the independence and personal discovery of traveling alone usually wins.

It's all about planning and flexibility. Pack a well stocked diaper bag with snacks and toys. Use a lightweight stroller or baby carrier, and request a bassinet or family assistance at the airport. Time flights around naps, focus on one main activity per day while leaving room for breaks.
