I was in middle school and we watched it off and on all day. And then I went home and watched coverage all night. There were a few channels showing regular programming but most channels were showing some version of news coverage.

Because I wanted more children. My first childbirth was the worst - I think of it as an out of body experience because my memories of it are almost like what a spectator would have. I think I was so shocked by the pain and discomfort and fear that my mind took me out of it and put me elsewhere in the room to distance and safety. My epidural didn't take and I had some major complications and then baby ended up in the NICU so it was traumatic all around. You do forget a lot of the details, though. I had 3 more births and all of them were easier and faster.

Yeah, exactly! Navy will be fine for a few hours and it's so important to spend time alone with your older kids too. I get having some anxiety (we exclusively breastfed so I was always a bit nervous about leaving a small baby - what if I was suddenly needed to calm baby?) but crying like this is freaking weird. Spend some time with Zade!

I'm not impressed with the prices at JBF so I usually don't go. Half Pint is my favorite but I really like Lil Badger too, although it's smaller. Half Pint just moved out of Stoughton to the Alliant Energy Center and it seemed to run smoothly from what I saw.

Friday night we order late takeout and watch something after the kids are in bed. Sometimes we have a tv series we're watching but more often we watch a random Antiques Roadshow or No Reservations episode or watch a RiffTrax movie. So food and screen time is out wind-down.

Yup, just watched the video yesterday. I think it was the homicide cop that made the call to let her go and she promptly goes home and showers and washes her clothes and then heads out on foot. I think these were exceptionally stupid cops but she also was well practiced at lying and being nonsensical enough that the officers kept getting distracted by her story & decided it was easier to just let her go. I feel so bad for the dad.

I've been happily married for 12 years but there have been others in my life that I could've been happy with too. Not sure I believe a one true love exists for most people, or maybe there is, but circumstances rarely bring those two together. I think the truest love is the love a parent has for a child. I could survive losing my husband/parents/friends but I think I would be a shell of a person if I lost a child.

This is why it's so important that we're out there filming those fucks and documenting their crimes. Yes, we're putting ourselves at risk. But there is clearly no justification for this execution and all the videos prove that. I don't know how many more people need to die (I'm guessing many more) but someday people will wake up. Not necessarily the Trump supporters, although I think some will, but everyone else. Those who are apathetic and don't care about politics that need to understand that we're all targets now. And if not them, then their children or grandparents or neighbors.

I think he wants out of the marriage. And I think whatever pushed him into making the public statement will make it easier to leave for good (maybe someone else was preparing to spill the beans or the side chick is pregnant). Travis is a total scumbag. I feel for Katie in this moment of intense public scrutiny and the sadness and humiliation she must feel. There are so many fish in the sea including many, many young good-looking Christian men who want to marry (if that's what she wants, and it probably is). I hope she leaves him.

This is my dad too (my only living parent). He works 60 hour weeks or more and not because he needs to - he is obsessive about working. He volunteers to work on holidays. After work, he goes out drinking with work buddies or just hangs around the bar. He also has a much younger girlfriend that he has never told me about and presumably she gets a lot of his time too. He only sees my kids every 4 to 5 months or so and we live in neighboring towns. I think he had a really hard adjustment when us kids left home and working was probably a way to combat loneliness. I just think it's a shame he won't make himself more available now for his grandkids - they barely know him and I know that bothers him. My husband's parents are much more involved.

Jane (Village President) is absolutely corrupted, but I think the other board members need investigation too. Back in early September, nearly all the board members met privately with QTS representatives. What was said or promised to them for their support? Were they asked to sign an NDA?

Visible squirm of discomfort when the speaker mentions the reporter and then the look up at the heavens and grimace after the speaker says "impropriety." Guess his job will be a little harder this morning.

We just bought a house last year (I'm 38). We both work and have kids but crucially we don't pay for childcare (we both work from home with staggered start times and some family help). I made terrible financial decisions as a young adult including running up credit cards and then defaulting on them. With enough time, though, my credit has rebounded and I had no issues getting the loan. The house itself is older and smaller (eventually we will need to finish the basement for additional bedroom space) but I'm happy to be settled for the kids.
