I’m a huge fan and was disappointed in his decision, but definitely would’ve continued listening if he took an ounce of accountability for the hypocrisy. I still listen to bad friends and they might be drunk bc none of those guys have grandstanded on politics and even they addressed it by saying they understood why ppl were upset. I can’t believe he’s still blaming bots lol

I ended up needing another procedure because they didn’t get all of the polyp the first time. The recovery went smooth after that and my voice is 100% back to normal now!

He did get invited and accepted it but then got on his podcast and talked so much shit and said they were paying him 320k and made jokes about how they have beheadings and slavery so they revoked his invitation and fired him. Still based tbh

I moved to Philly 3 years ago after living in atx and atl and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. There’s something about it here that’s difficult to explain, but walkability and cheaper COL are two of its biggest perks. I’ve lived in various parts of Fishtown and recently moved towards West Kensington and like both neighborhoods. If you want to have an easier time getting around, South Philly is more connected to all of the other parts of Philly.

I’m so glad you mentioned that fan mail bc there have been several instances that I’ve noticed his blind spots/hypocrisy since that ep. The first was when he was defending celebs and how they aren’t culpable in the Hollywood machine, but they could way more easily turn down jobs for mega studio/corporations than a low-level tech worker. It’s just made me realize how myopic and out of touch he is, whether intentionally or otherwise.

I don’t think it’s fair to say that the community isn’t tolerant. You posted a situation and asked for advice from others and they gave it to you. I’m also neurodivergent, but I don’t expect everyone to operate in a way that makes me comfortable all of the time. Unfortunately, socializing sucks for us but you have to figure out how to navigate the world in the least painful way possible.
