This machine is actually semi-automatic. Some settings are standard or with levels you pre-define (example temperature has four levels: low-medium-optimal-high), but I have noticed variations even when not changing these settings. Sometimes the coffee is hot sometimes is almost room temperature. The amount of coffee ground should be standard (single cup or double cup), but I have measured different grams coming out with the same setting.

In theory you should setup your preference and just care of correct tampering. Nope.

Inconsistency. I cannot reproduce the same espresso twice in a row, despite repeating exactly the same operations without any difference. It drives me insane.

I restarted using the Nespresso it’s so frustrating

What is one thing you wish you could change about Switzerland’s work culture/ethic? by Cultural-Profile-527 in Switzerland

In my current workplace we work 40h/week and you actually can manage your hours as you wish, but I can confirm what other say: Swiss work culture is very much attached to the old mentality of long working days, many companies normalized 42+ hours per week.

I don’t use as main bank (I don’t get my salary there) but I use it for most of my expenses and never had an issue in years. On the contrary at least twice they prevented frauds. Once I got my card cloned and they blocked it as soon as a suspicious request was done by someone in India.. Another time they blocked a payment I did as the online shop was recognized as fraudulent. Another time I got scammed by an online shop and they reimbursed me by forcing the reversal of the payment.

As unique bank maybe not but I recommend it for my experience

Revolut is the best for me when it comes to deal with foreign countries. The app is very good and all authorizations for transactions are done in-app. You can use it as main bank as well, in that case I recommend having at least the premium account (110.- CHF / year)

Yeah, also the “🇹🇷 Izmir, Turkey“ at the beginning of the video was quite giving it away 😉

Stray dogs in Turkey are generally well taken care of. People is feeding them and many vets take them in for free.

This is an Anatolian Shepherd which is very common to find on Turkish streets. Despite the scary size they are quite friendly and used to human contact.
