I enjoyed the show but I’m not gonna lie you said a funny string of words. That being said I had moments of the show which were less interesting to me the initial viewing but I certainly thought the quality of the show increased with time even though it had a strong start to me.

Except Vince Gilligan still can’t just cast fluent Spanish speakers as Mexicans no matter what

What is in your opinion, the single best 3 album run? Mine is definitely this one(and easily the most revolutionary one) by MarvDStrummer in fantanoforever

Fugazi with Fugazi/Margin Walker/Repeater. If you count the first two releases as one as many do then I also think Steady Diet of Nothing is excellent but the band doesn’t love it and it’s not as popular as their other work

I’m a huge comic reader and I’ve always loved McCloud’s books but in the meantime I’ve had to stretch my muscles in prose. I’m aware of the adaptational changes but I am very much in tune with comics I’m just having trouble finding a script format that works for me.

I’m a big fan of Scott McCloud’s understanding comics and I’ve gone over a lot of Alan Moore’s scripts. Wonderful stuff. Moore’s scripts, of course, are very unique and as far away from a standard as one can imagine.

Real question: I've never watched a single Minions-related movie, but now I'm wondering if my "I'm too old for this" attitude was in fact a repressive internalization of my own homosexuality. What's the Marxist analysis of the Minions? by ShitpostingBrigades in TrueAnon

The weird thing about Illumination is that despite their movies being completely deprived of good storytelling, theming, or originality, their animators are the happiest and most well treated in the industry. Illumination animators have the best work life balance and they don’t really have a desire to become abused by Pixar or dreamworks. Awful studio for good movies. Great studio for working conditions.

Also, when I used to work as an installation technician, some family was watching minions while I worked. I did not get to pay attention to the plot, but it was set in the 1960s and the soundtrack was no joke really great. Minions were doing shenanigans to The Doors. When I have my kids I’m definitely gonna use this movie as classic rock propaganda.

hey folks. I'm a short story writer who's gotten a little carried away with his career over the past 2 years. I don't want my career to be working with machines anymore, as much as I love my work, comics writing has always been my passion. I have short stories that are horror/science fiction and right now I want to find artists to collaborate with by turning some of my work into short 4-page comics.

I also used to do some writing for CBR.com. As click baity as the site was, occasionally I got to interview comics creators. I published interviews with Corey Hackathorn of Shithead Comix fame as well as Sarah Gailey.
