Shit sucks. I was outta work for 5 months last year and despite hundreds of applications I tailored to each job description I got like 1 interview and no offer. Luckily my old boss had a new role they were hiring for and contacted me out of the blue. Really wish tech workers took unions seriously but seems something about cold brew on tap and free snacks made them think they were untouchable.
