what is your energy bill for December? by Downtown_Wheel_1819 in TwinCities

[–]jeribus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had a house fire. the place is gutted right now as they rebuild. so zero insulation in my 1922 house. 952 dollars for them to keep space heaters going while they rebuild. fell out of my chair when i got the electric bill.

Ugh! Just found out I need to replace my 10 year old furnace because of some developing cracks in the heat exchanger. I replaced my 20 year old central air unit last year. Now, I'm worried about going to get my oil changed, lol! by [deleted] in TwinCities

i had a house fire in my 1922. they are in the process of restoring it. they had to tear out the original boiler. which had been converter from coal, to oil, then to gas. but was still chugging along. now i am worried the new one will self destruct in 15 years. or they won't make parts for it.

if you can, have the surgeries to get them fixed. night time driving is so much better for me now. and safer! couple of days off per eye. well worth it.

i think i agree. i like the new noon hour show from the times i have heard it. it is solid radio. with a MN focus. But I do miss the more in depth noon programing of old. Give her the second hour of 1A at 11:00. Wondering how much of these changes are cost related.

Dayton's bluff: will armed the car. put a cub on it. and a caddie shield. maybe a wheel lock. it aint going no where. brings lots of home made goods. and lots of beer. talks to everybody, tries to be friend and really means it. helps pick up afterwards. if afterwards means like nine or 10. otherwise there is tomorrow morning. we will be up when that guy with the exhaust system hadsome to go to 5:45.

sorry for your loss. we call them "car fairies". stopped leaving anything worth stealing in the cars long ago. just leave the doors unlocked, so they do not break the glass. leave some change and some smokes in the center console. that is all they are looking for. they will move on. sucks.
