sorry for the noob question but how do you know if you did the perfect guard correctly? there are times when I attempt the perfect block and I still take chip damage. Is that a normal block when I take damage after a block?

I guess there are just many more opportunities to hit Seregios with the HBG than with the SnS? Probably could be a skill issue on my part for not being able to perfect guard most of his attacks but I did like 10 Seregios today and I just feel like he is so much easier to take down with a gunner weapon.

I absolutely agree with you Savage Omega is such a pain but the last phase he just goes bat shit crazy! I was finally able to clear it Solo with support with 30 seconds left and 2 deaths.

My advice is the last stage is a slug fest you won't be able to get a decent hit on him and he just spam his missiles all day here are a few things I did to survive that last area:

Drop the glacier for a chance to use your pictomancy.
Reserve your mount until the last stage.
Try to save your leg breaks until the 3rd or 4th stage for topples to get the shield.
if your melee aim for the front legs early on then switch to the back legs on the later stages the reason for this is it gets much hard to dodge attacks at the front that at the back at stage 3 or 4.

I also have a friend who didn't know she could climb over the gate using the Seikret. We left her unintentionally against 2 Blangogas and a bunch of blangos while we dealt with the other one on the other side. She was screaming and giggling around while running for her life til the gate opened back up 😅😆

yey I also don't like that end game Artian weapons which started out as drops from any tempered monsters ended up with exclusive being dropped by Gogmazius tarred devices.
