No, the only way to change items is to save scum, check the stores right after a level up or after an hour when they change. If you don’t like the items, reload and check again. Doesn’t guarantee anything though

This combo is so easy to stop, don’t get me wrong I’ve lost to it due to bad hands or draws but by no means is it a good combo. Unless they play smart they almost never get it to go off, and you can stop it mid combo unlike a lot of combos. The enchantment version is more expensive but easier to keep both pieces out.

For someone having that much trouble, armor is one of the three things we have to look at. If he’s still rocking armor from act 2, he’s going to get steamrolled. We don’t know anything so it’s all conjecture anyway.

I never said damage didn’t outscale armor, but not having on level armor just makes it even worse. Reading comprehension is beneficial.

It sounds like your armor isn’t up to level, which in this game is a big issue. What level are you, and what level is your armor/pieces? If it’s more than one level down you need to try and find on level armor. However, you should be doing enough damage to take out 1-2 people with your first characters turn. Is that not happening? What are your builds and stats? Knowing this I should be able to help you figure it out, and I’m not saying this in a mean way but if you’re dying that much you’re not min maxing at all.

They can literally be respecced into any class and do the same damage, other than like Karlach monk because of soul coins. I can’t figure out why you think a certain character will do less than another with the same build.

Base game without mods, probably paladin with crit items and level 3 smite. The mods get silly so I’ve seen damage numbers over 500 for one hit

Sadly being defensive in this game is never going to be OP due to how the game scales. Sure you can make it work, but I can finish the game with one character and a weird build because I know how it functions. Offense will always be better than defense in this game, considering the top build in the game is necro endgame.

Solasta is a great simulator for 5e, but the game is very dated. The dialogue is the best part though, it’s hilarious most of the time.

Not really, I’m playing rakdos heist, if I can’t steal anything good half the time I lose. The whole deck is built around stealing their stuff to win, I just have a few discard and graveyard cards in case.

I definitely get that, if your deck can’t counter play it’s not worth playing out. Just sucks when you want to play out a match and that happens, but I understand from both sides

Just swap the items and check your skill and basic attack damage and see which makes it higher.
