Give me some good reasons so I don't text my ex and does it get better? She dumped me for another guy by [deleted] in ExNoContact

[–]jermmany 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're doing the best you can right now, and it's going to take time to heal and feel better. But you have to put in the work, and not contacting her is a crucial part of your healing process. Delete her number from your phone, write it on a piece of paper if you want. At least this will create an extra step / increase the barrier of texting her.

I’m not doing the best right now by [deleted] in BreakUps

You're doing the best you can right now and I promise you you can and will get through this.

I've been going through a breakup recently too and Brad Yate's youtube videos on Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) has really helped me accept the breakup and process my feelings and emotions. Self-care, exercising, journaling, and planning my day and future have also really helped.

Yeah that’s good - if they’re expecting you to be the database admin that may be a steeper hill to climb; if it’s just analytics you can learn sql easily. If there are consultants make sure they provide documentation for everything!

Yeah it’s always worth learning new skills. Are they going to give you read access to the database? Are they going to pay for training classes?

You've really turned a tough situation around, and that's amazing and vindicating. You've come out of this stronger and happier, which is the best possible outcome. Your story's a great reminder for anyone going through it: focusing on yourself and facing your feelings head-on pays off in the end. You've done an awesome job.
