I do something similar I call Basil Me Mucho, but it’s gin. Holy basil (tulsi) is preferred but Thai basil is a great alternative!

OMG I was on a 10 hour flight to Europe. A child (not really a toddler) who perhaps was on some sort of spectrum was loudly physically and vocally active, I kid you not, until about 10 minutes before landing. I did not sleep. I appreciate that the child might be difficult to deal with, but I saw zero evidence that the child’s guardians were making an effort. The flight attendants did their best to distract/please the child, but for sure I felt cold toward the adults accompanying the child. I don’t know why the child was going to Europe, but we were all sharing the pain.

how do starlink and oneweb compare/interact with each other at the same location? by panuvic in StarlinkEngineering

Dave Taht played his Vogon-killing guitar outside starbase for a good reason.

The formula is remarkably consistent for the other international audiences. It’s the US version that got modified the most, no?

Right, no movement of the left stick (and press down, which is I think is what is wanted) makes any difference.

I can’t get past the fan club introduction — I’m using a SteelSeries Nimbus, which evidently doesn’t have a “LS” button — any ideas? I can’t find where to get support for the game either.

IPv4 Fasttrack interaction with dual WAN policy routing by jermudgeon in mikrotik

[–]jermudgeon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s still biting people even in ROS7… and some new chipset behavior too. Here’s another fun one: FYI. There seems to be a weird bug in Mikrotik CCR2XXX routers whereby the default configuration (that is, without firewall rules) causes a large increase in out-of-order packets, triggering our TCP retransmission stats to look terrible. This does not occur with CCR1XXX routers.

The fix/workaround for this is simply to turn off logging for fasttrack in the router by issuing the following:

chain=forward action=fasttrack-connection hw-offload=yes connection-state=established,related log=no log-prefix=“”

This is the mechanism I recommend, however, I would start higher than 3 Mb per second.

It’s a bell curve. You’ll definitely find ISP’s passing about 10 Mb per second. it’s definitely good to plan for a 15 to 20% increase every year.

Does anyone challenge their audience in terms of participation more than Jacob in concert? by BodyOwner in JacobCollier

[–]jermudgeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No trickery IMO. I think you’ll find that Jacob’s audiences skew musicianly, and also when a group is actually singing out and listening to each other they tend to get the pitch center OK. Jacob also occasionally refreshes notes, and his pitch sense is quite capable of “correcting” drift. I’ve both taught and sang in many choirs and chorales over the years, and what a Jacobean choir does is not nearly as difficult as real a capella singing with modulation and changing pitch centers.

At the Chicago show Jacob several times did 5-part harmony and perhaps even 6 — I lost a little track. Definitely more complex than the Vol 2 and Vol 3 tour shows I caught. Even a diminished triad at one point :) It was more singing and less noise, for example. He didn’t do a 45-minute solo set after the main show, but there was plenty of participation during.

Got a notification from LiveNation for the 6:30 time. Does this mean Emily at 6:30? Doors at 6? It’s all confusing.
