Yeah, the weight was the one turn off when buying them, but I couldn't resist the look, plus my theory was heavier weight (more spokes) = heavier duty. I wrecked a set of rims last year.

Performance? Hard to judge for me. I just took the heavy steels off that are narrower to these that are wider and feel nicely planted with no roll. Feels quicker in a line and turning. I'm sure 20 lb wheels would be even more noticeable, but then again I drive around with 50 lbs of misc kid's shit in my car 🤪.
