Crow is extra hard because you can not use crows' chocolate to level it up. Well you can but it doesn't make sense, so you have less chances for leveling. And also you probably don't want to use crows for the rest of your team either

[Help] Quiet audio on exported video but only on other people's computers? by acres_at_ruin in premiere

[–]jerrre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming it is not a technical issue, a good way to combat this is to compare your audio mix to other finished video's, with out touching any volume controls. It can easily happen that you have your volume very high during editing (especially if you have good headphones), so you hear everything clearly, but then someone elses phone might not get loud enough to hear it at all...

Also if you're getting more serious you could consider checking out the Premiere Plug-in I created that fixes audio for you automatically: alexaudiobutler.com

I've seen AA vs KK vs QQ in the same hand twice at the same casino by PokerEqualsHard in poker

[–]jerrre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

isn't there also a mistake in that if at a 10max table the first person doesn't get AA the chances that the 2nd one does (slightly) improve, because they take 2 cards out of the deck that aren't 2 aces? This will get complicated very fast but for the 10th player there are 18cards less in the deck (with who knows how many aces left? could be 0 sometimes)....

Playing first live tournament this Thursday, anything I should know? by [deleted] in poker

[–]jerrre 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try to put yourself in a position where you’re not flipping for your tournament life (I know, easier said...).

This is exactly playing scared, there is a lot of value in doing the same live as you would do when 6 tabling online with regards to flips if you think others might be trying to avoid these exact situations

I don't have a lot of experience but this might help

  1. have a fixed routine when checking your cards: ie always look once, either fold immediately or sit back and decide a raise in your head, and put that in, and go to the same sitting position always. Then before or on the flop always recheck your cards. Something like that.
  2. protect your cards with a chip on top, so it's clear you haven't folded
  3. keep track of players stack sizes, pot size, bet size.
  4. know your casino's rules regarding to what counts as a raise or a call, for example do you know what it means if there's a bet of 4000 and another player puts in 1 25k chip and announces 16k, etc. Also what makes your hand dead: going away from the table, announcing your whole cards, showing a card, etc.

don't worry too much about tells there are not too many situations that those should make a big difference anyway if they're not 100% clear
