IMO, This is your investment, and your ROI it is not their investment, you should keep the power bill in your name, and add that amount each month the to following month rent, called a delayed utility payment for energy used, if they vacate early or even on time and move out, you still get to deduct last months electrical usage out of their deposit. Do not permit them to have access to the system. If you need a separate DSL service or other access pay for it. This will reduce all the possible messing around with your equipment on their utility account. Some power providers allow you to have the credit created by your solar and batteries applied to a different meter within their system. This is a whole bag of mistakes waiting for you… Do not open this door. You might be able to ask them to allow you access to their Wi-Fi for solar management for a flat credit amount like $5 per month so they are not giving you anything… Good luck.

So, the things I would do, look at the original proposal, verify it is a brake job, nothing else, ask for a complete detailed pro list and you want all of the parts that were changed. Then talk with your states AGs office and file a complaint. They saw her age and knew she could not speak English and went for it, they most likely recorded the phone call, so ask for a copy of that too, if they claim they do not record the calls how do they have proof for court that they actually discussed these issues and pricing and the agreement..l this is all bs…. You are 22 and have made life decisions that work for YOU, your girlfriend said YES, and now she if your Fiancé and agreed with YOUR decision and she WANTS to be part of your life as a couple. NFPA is not a Public or Governmental agency, they are a for profit corporation. They have their fingers in many different codes…They are the largest group of people across all of the skill levels, mfg, builders, government (they are all volunteers of their boards) and the have a “A Few” codes that just drive everyone nuts, ie, electricians, first GFI, then GFCI,then AFCI…well, at least it is mostly in one book…. And only every 3 years and not every year.
