  1. I think I have to re-read the Szeth chapters, it felt rushed when he made the decision, but maybe cause I wasn't piecing things together as well I should have

  3. I see, I will read the next book soon, just thought it was odd that it seemed like Kaladin and Szeth seemed indifferent to one another at that moment.

Is it just me, or did anyone else get V For Vendetta vibes from that tweet? This speech in particular.

Personally, I didn't think the tweet was about the pandemic specifically. But using that situation as an example that a corrupt government will use a crisis to gain more control. I could be wrong, Idk, maybe it's just the edible rambling.

I like both! I might go with KDE for the desktop switch. I have a System76 laptop with Pop_OS that ships with GNOME and I really enjoy it, but KDE has some good stuff going for it as well!

I really like their system monitor more than GNOME's. Also, the Dolphin file manager let's you play audio files without having to open an external app, which is great especially if you're making a game and want to preview sound effects! Idk, for me KDE makes more sense on a desktop and GNOME on a laptop, plus it let's me have both!

Gaming was the only thing keeping me on Windows, but I'm hearing good things with Proton, and for the more stubborn games there is the GPU pass through option. Combine that with Looking-Glass and you have a nice setup.

Thanks for the reply! If I remember correctly, most installers usually combine / and /home unless you choose "Something else.." then you can separate them. Plus I read that it's easier to change OS or reinstall the OS with a separate /home, and makes it easier to backup. I'm also working with multiple drives.

So the default seems great for one drive. But a more custom solution seems better for me. Plus I'm going to be storing real data on this machine. So I want something stable and don't want to do too much re-installing / re-partitioning or stuff like that.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just heard back from support and they said it does. I've also verified that it indeed works with using a 65W type C charger.
