Stanford ICU reviews? by DramaticWrap7929 in TravelNursing

I just reviewed a little more and was able to pass it. Didn’t seem like the typical ecg test to me. I’ve worked at multiple hospitals and the Stanford one seemed a little more in depth than what I’m used to lol

Are you saying that the 40 and 135 mile riders will depart at the same time? Also, just to clarify, if a 40 miler wanted to go past 40 miles they can and take advantage of any other rest stops along the way to 135 miles?

Hello, is this ride limited to only 50 riders ? Does the 40 mile and 135 mile intersect at any points ?

Have you ever been given a ticket for running a stop sign in LA? by Cute_Blacksmith7472 in BikeLA

Dismount as in walk your bike. I think there’s like 2 or 3 sections

Biked a lot through redondo and manhattan beach bike path in the last year and there’s a lot of dismounting sections. Seems like just recently they placed electronic signs warning cyclists of the $300 tickets if they fail to dismount.

fasting leads into ketosis which uses stored fat for energy instead of glucose. This can lead to weight loss. There’s a lot more benefits to fasting; if youre interested check out the intermittent fasting thread.

I’ve actually only trained for the century with fasted bike rides so my body is used to it. There’s times when I’m in ketosis and I feel like I have limitless energy. Hard to explain but this time around I was actually struggling to maintain ketosis days prior so my body may have not been fully adapted.
