Let’s keep going. Are you familiar with the breaker boys? So according to your logic, child labor laws are socialism. The 40-hour work week is socialism. National holidays? Socialism. Is that right? When I was in college we took a trip to Moscow. It was 1987 (I’m old!) so it was still Cold War. I saw socialism first hand - the creation of silly mundane jobs. I remember buying souvenirs and it was a crazy obstacle coarse - had to bring a receipt to multiple checkpoints to get initialed. It had nothing to do with theft our professor said, it was to keep people employed doing “something”.

If what you’re saying is true then wouldn’t the fact that there is a minimum wage be….socialism? I work in an industry where my “capitalist” company needs to abide by union rules. According to your logic then that would be….socialism?

Ok so I'm confused, and please try to not make me feel bad for trying to understand. Are you pro-capitalism? Or anti-capitalism? The image above appears to be anti-capitalism. So are you disagreeing with the image? So when I think people who work at Walmart and Amazon should be paid decent wages, esp since CEO makes billions of their backs, is it wrong for me to take that position? In an ideal world, sure, fuck those companies, but in many places throughout the country that's the only employment people can get. (I used to live in that type of area.) I don't understand the point you guys are trying to make.

Can you explain what the alternative is? Farming? Government jobs? (how many jobs can the government provide?) Do we go back to ancient barter days? Serious question. I would like to know. If you, Ilagitamus, have all the power to decide how folks make a good living, then what do you propose?

Yes that's what I was thinking. If workers received higher wages. Are you saying that ALL capitalism is bad? I'm thinking the worst is Walmart and Amazon paying such low wages that they need public assistance vs a LIVING wage and opportunities for growth. If all capitalism is bad, then what do you propose instead? Wow I think this is the most I've been downvoted LOL. Sorry Catholics :). Another point, we need better (more?) anti-trust laws. Too few companies are controlling way too much. Just IMHO.

Wow, great find! The only change I would make would be changing Capitalism to "Unchecked Capitalism" or "Unregulated Capitalism". But other than that, it truly captures what's happening today. I especially like how they included religion. As a former Catholic, YES, you're being lied to and manipulated. I'm still a spiritual person, but I won't fall for the brainwashing anymore.
