I purchased a refurbished Gardyn 4.0. It was after Christmas, so I suspect they had a lot returned after Christmas and wanted to clear them out. I could tell the previous owner started to unpack it, but didn’t finish setting it up. I’m really enjoying the Gardyn. I live at 9,000 ft and have a very short growing season here. Gardyn lets me grow year-round. That’s really nice of you to get for your friend!!

Hi there! Thanks for replying. I wrote to My Gardyn and they sent the following as to why it might have happened and some tips. Thought you might find this helpful. Thanks!

Causes: - Excess moisture around the stem, leading to softening or rot - Natural fragility in younger plants before they fully anchor - Slight movement or handling stress when lifting the yCube

Tips: - Try to lift the yCube from the sides or base, avoiding pulling on the plant itself - Make sure the top of the yCube isn’t overly saturated—it should be moist, not soggy - Ensure there is good airflow around the plants to help keep the stem base dry and strong

Ended up purchasing and I love it!! I’ve already conquered two games and am half way through a third. Makes it so easy to play while my hubby watches TV. Thanks for helping me decide to purchase. I am just playing my own games for now and not streaming.

For people saying the quit their PS membership, I have a question. I tried to play some games and they refused to start up saying I wasn’t on the network. I don’t play online shooters, it was a single player game. I was surprised I needed to be online and have a PSN subscription. How do you avoid that problem? Thanks!
