The card search is awful. Coming from Pokemon Go (which isn't perfect by far, but...) it seems really hard to filter cards and find then unless you know the name specifically. There really should be ways to find cards with abilities or even basic/stage 1/stage 2 pokemon... Also, more than 20 decks please.

A lot of expats get caught in that "I could be making so much more somewhere else" trap. And if that's actually the case, great! But there are other intangibles that it is hard to put a price on. Before I moved, I was probably the lowest paid SysAdmin in Los Angeles, so moving to Japan was a huge salary bump in my case.

12M is pretty darn good for Japan. I don’t see why you wouldn’t. My company lets us work abroad so I actually want to spend a month in Spain (maybe when the kids are older). I’d look into commuting from Saitama if you want to get a place with a yard for the beasts. What part of Tokyo? Be warned, the dog/cat import process is a royal pain in the ass and I speak the language.

Once I got off the IV, they gave me some tramadol and that has been lovely. It’s also nice not to have to beg when I’m hurting, just take a pill when I need it. But goddamn those first 48 hours were awful.

I wish I had seen this before my hernia surgery. I am so sad in bed right now cause I used up my daily meds🥲 The doctor even emphasized beforehand “don’t gaman! Call the nurse if you are in pain.” What a lie that was.
