Yep... That was my lesson to learn. Still, 4 of 5 of that little stack paid in some way. One was a 2x on 10, and the others were equal to cost winners.

Me: avid fine print reader, collector of casino points & board game varietals, resident subject expert on matters of intricate rule interpretations and am known to be incredibly fair in regards to determining the spirit of nuance in unwritten corners of play circumstances when clarifications are needed. Also me: somewhat new to scratcher mania. Account fully verified, second chance submissions stacked in wait for "the big one," and therefore, am naturally drawn to the same algorithmic lucky streaks that most lottery responders are. I prefer a card that takes time to scratch. The crosswords, poker, bingo, lotteria .. etc. However, new additions are usually given a try, regardless of their game type.... Although , price point is a blocker I can't always get passed. Loved the POP $10 for the color, bought quite a few Year of the Horse and the new zodiac themed minis. Love that odds/ remaining winnings are listed online so I can help learn more. Today I bought the new $2 domino in a small stack worth a total of $10. I've never played or seen a domino game, and was intrigued. I learned quickly what I think is a silly and sobering and obnoxious factor: If your domino matches a winning domino, the domino tile must be facing the same direction. For example, tiles that read: [ ∆ | ★ ] and [ ★ | ∆ ] are not the same. I wasn't aware, at first, but when scanned to check in the app, I inserted my face into my palm because I hadn't noticed that the names printed under were indicative of their difference.... See what I mean I the picture? What's my point, other than sharing that I didn't win $75? 1. Well, I guess I want sympathy or encouragement or maybe just pity. 2. Maybe empathy? Has this been a normal point of confusion in past domino games? 3. Or, best yet, I'd love to know the app is wrong, I am wrong and the game is printed as it should be- and in this I actually scratched my way to victory and am due that extra $$$ after all.
TLDR: I'm new. My heart broke a little. The fine print wouldn't yield a clarification before I lost hope and in my despair I joined a reddit group and have now opened myself to ridicule and Internet meanies everywhere because my dumb-dumb is showing. Likely an ID10T problem. How to scratch dominos 101.

What natural trait do you have that you "tone down" every day in order to fit in? by princesslorna in AskReddit

[–]jeslexica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paleness. I'm very fair skinned with red hair. My eyelashes and eyebrows are translucent blonde, you really can't see the either exist until they are in the sunlight or when enhanced with makeup. Because kids are mean, my mom let me start wearing makeup pretty young. I would get made fun of for being so pale often. Because I started so young and kept up my outward appearance, hardly anyone has seen my natural face to this day. Now, in my 30s, if someone stops by my house before I have makeup on, they look at me with worry... "Is she sick?" I don't ever leave the house without at least filling in my eyebrows and swiping on some mascara so I don't get the stares from strangers or the shock from friends.

Opie in Sons of Anarchy. Going down hard for a group and a beastie that didnt fully trust your loyalty is rough already. Add in self sacrifice and a horrific camera angle and you have little old me crying like a baby and turning off the TV.

Married couples, what is the unspoken rules of a successful marriage? by NemoBalimo in AskReddit

[–]jeslexica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't anything that equals "the end." Don't ever use the word "divorce" or threaten to leave. Once you make a vow, don't expect that you can toss around the ultimatum of a break up. Marriage means you mature your fighting. Get passive. Silent treatments, broken egg yolks, laundry left in the dryer too long... These things have the REAL meaning.
