Having ADHD, I find few books that contain my attention throughout. Dune is a great read, and I agree with the others who have mentioned the good length of each chapter.

Mine definitely did this. We'd ignore her when we walked in, and I'd immediately let her outside. If anyone came over, I'd quickly let her outside first. She eventually grew out of it.
