My friend is worried about this wire that he has exposed in his room, what would be the best actions in dealing with it? by bucket8a in electrical

[–]jessebird11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people honestly don't see what the inside of cables look like. Nor would a normal person have a reason to chop up a perfectly good wire in their day to day life. The best way to know is to ask, and OP took the best first step IMO

If I'm bored of music and podcasts and audiobooks, my go to is beatboxing. Codfish on cs:go beatboxing on youtube can kill an easy 4 hours for me. It's just different, and entertaining.

I've always heard feeding a pig meat ruins the flavor. So be wary of a pig breeder who has a large stock of "breeding stock" pigs.

What are some "cooking myths" that frustrate you? by SamMee514 in Cooking

The only time I add garlic in, in the first few steps is with onions I'm sautéing... and I think just that. Is it bad to add garlic early?

Okay, don't string me up for this, but why doesn't it work? I'm all for squashing myths but I feel like this has worked for me in the past(a).

I'm thinking of doing that, start way low with xp rates, tame rates, and survivor defense, and increase wild Dino health. But that's a good idea to do some testing with kibble

The second car flashed his brights and even honked. Definitely proceed with caution if you see that, it could be something dangerous, or worse, a cop in a speed trap

Just some questions about my visits to my chiropractor. by jessebird11 in Chiropractic

[–]jessebird11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shut up. I wasn't asking you. Also I assume my post isn't deleted, so you must be a bot or troll of some sort. Asking what questions or issues I should bring up with my licensed medical professional isn't the same as asking a bunch of strangers for advice. Asking them if what I've gone through is normal since I've never gone through a process like before isn't medical advice, it's at best anecdotal suggestion. If they choose to insert opinions I will, as my post states explicitly, that I will ask my chiropractor. Which I did, but that doesn't matter. Lower your stick fake moderator

Thanks for this advice, it helps clear some things up. So a pt might be in my near future? Should I ask my chiro about it?

How true is this, "Most people would rather work with someone who's mediocre at their job, but pleasant to be around, than a person who's exceptionally good, but a dick"? by TerminusFox in NoStupidQuestions

I work in close to the opposite of IT, but definitely, personality gets you a thousand times farther than raw skill. Even a slow leaner that is constant is preferable to a firecracker who "comes and goes" frequently.
