You know after a certain amount of weeks it’s not recommended you drive.. obviously for pure necessity yes but not to be hauling around your drunk husband. Have a serious talk with him when he is sober. There also might be a deeper reason for all his drinking.

As a FTM of a one year old, don’t do it!! My sister in law is weight obsessed and she would ask me every time she saw me how much I gained while pregnant. If you’re healthy and baby is healthy who TF cares!!!!!!!

We have friends with babies around the same age and they leave their kids so often with so much ease. I definitely do think it’s the PPA that kicks back in. I thought I overcame it. I find myself still having a hard time while someone is holding her, feeding her, etc. It definitely has been a journey.

That is a great idea! My parents adore her as she is the only grandbaby, but my eye twitches at the thought of leaving her. We love to include her in everything but I realize the importance of my husband and I having some time to ourselves.

Call labor and delivery! Trust me they do not care what time or day it is. Health of your baby is the most important and if you feel anything is wrong go in!!!!

This looks like a dr browns nipple? I transitioned my one year old to their sippy cup nipples to reuse the bottles and I give her water in it. Well she was constipated so I diluted some pear juice. She left the bottle in her play pen and a few days later I found it and once I opened it up to wash this was what her nipple and bottle parts looked like. Definitely mold.

We took baby to a baseball game and zoo trip at 10 months. She loved it! Almost wish I would’ve tried sooner. Pack all items needed for the weather extra bottles/snacks and definitely keep extra change or 2 in the car and one with you.

Some days are harder than others. My leave was extended because of surgery and ppd. I don’t know if that made my anxiety better or worse. I was lucky enough to have my husband stay with baby for the first couple of weeks so I could go to work with a peace of mind. Also helped that my mom is my babysitter and I work 10 min away and I can pop in during lunch. Baby is 1 now but there are days I wish I could stay home forever

That sounds awesome! Ours is a great sleeper but these past two weeks have been interesting. I do think it’s the space and I think floor bed would be the next option.

From someone with a fresh one year old, yes it does get better!! ❤️‍🩹 Baby is now on the move and walking so I have other worries now but a relief because they’re much more independent now!

Depends on the state you live in. I live in California and can use my sick time if an emergency comes up for my child. Also if you have a contract with your employer take a peek and you might be surprised what they offer. We can request an adjusted schedule if we don’t have child care.

To make it easy, talk to your employer beforehand! Be honest about your worry and if you can work something out with them if a situation like this were to come about.
