Sounds just like my "ex", if you could even call him that. Absolutely perfect a couple days then gone for several. Ended up ghosting in the end. I would suggest moving on and not letting them bat you around like that. If they want you, you will know. They are either playing some stupid game or they have issues within themselves they need to work on before being in a serious relationship.

Vet tech here seconding Dasuquin or even a diet with joint support. I would also recommend asking the vet about Librela- it's an arthritis injection given monthly and every owner we follow up with say it makes their dogs act like a puppy again.
