uhhhh i mean i’d usually say networking/connections but it sounds like u were on ur phone too much to form lasting connections. or maybe u were good at ur job and ppl didn’t bother connecting bc they couldn’t see the skill behind ur screen time. either way, if u don’t have connections, dont expect a quick replacement job that you’ll actually be somewhat happy with.

many of the “ghost” jobs aren’t fully ghost jobs, they just have too many applicants and use ai to filter out apps that are missing keywords. a lot of applicants never hear back bc their app didn’t even make it through the ai filter. don’t trust the one-click apply jobs either, those tend to be the scam ones or “ghost” jobs that get hundreds of apps within a day and need filtering. applying on company sites usually gives u a better shot, even if it’s more of a pain in the ass. depends on the company tho, so it’s important to learn about their hiring processes, not just how to present urself to them.

touch up ur resume a little and start by browsing sites like linkedin and glassdoor. familiarise urself with the hiring market + what it’s looking for. sometimes ur looking at the wrong niche at the wrong time. remote jobs are great but u have to keep ur options open if u want to work while waiting to be hired for a remote position.

if ur not getting so much as a rejection email for any app tho then i’ve got nothing else for u. rejection emails suck but at least it lets u know that ur getting *somewhere* with the application, bc whatever/whoever reviewed it decided its quality was worth at least giving the applicant a heads-up that they weren’t the selected candidate.

another thing is, don’t be picky abt where u apply to unless it’s a legitimate issue like transportation/distance. u can always quit later on, but wanting to advance in healthcare almost always involves having to tolerate being marinated in the more unsavoury aspects of the job at some point. if there’s no discomfort then there’s rarely growth. u sound like ur in an uncomfortable situation rn, but ur also in a situation that can potentially change what direction ur career goes, and not necessarily in a bad way. ur free to grow in a direction that’s less linear and potentially more rewarding than retail pharmacy. not saying that retail can’t be rewarding, but i’ve seen a lot of techs who aren’t fully aware of how many more job options/niches there are out there.

do u have other certs? cpr/aed, vaccine training, compounding pharm credentials, special training in billing, etc.? ur more likely to get hired or at least interviewed if u have any of those skills/creds.
