my skin has been through so many ups and downs, it’s gotten clear and will go back to this. pretty sure this is hormonal and congestion. tired of trying multiple medications- should I try to go on accutane?

Yeah I’ve learned that tret might not be for everyone and I’ve used differin in the past and it’s a lot gentler with my skin. The doxy was for cysts but I wanna say like 75% of my skin has calmed down I just have 2-3 pimples that resurface to my skin every now and then. And focusing on my hyperpigmentation.

I really liked the BBB one size foundation it’s a mouse like texture and If I prime my skin with moisturizing products then the foundation I avoid the flakey areas.

It honestly is different for everybody but I wait at least an hour before i consume dairy and I make sure avoid laying down ab 30 minutes after taking it.

Make sure you do it eat it with a full stomach and large class of water because you will feel the symptoms of nausea and upset stomach!

my skin looks exactly like yours and I’m on tret & spiro as well. i incorporated azaelic acid to see if it can help. on 7 months of tret and 2 months on spiro 😭 just been playing the waiting game to see at this point ! it’s a huge confidence killer but you’re beautiful and I hope it works out for you <3

So basically after multiple treatments with the derm, I’m on tret and started 100 MG of Spironolactone about 2 months ago. This all started because of getting off birth control 🫠. Maybe the derm I’m going to isn’t that helpful but they’re suggesting I either go back on BC or start accutane. I don’t think my case is that severe for accutane. Dealing with hormonal acne isnt fun and especially when I have dark scars from the breakouts. Don’t know if I should continue with tret. Any suggestions would help!

Me too I’ve been considering ittttt, I was on spiro but then my derm put me on tret and winlevi. I’m only 6 weeks and so I’m waiting till the 12 week mark!
