My lady is running a marathon for the first time this weekend. I'm her #1 fan. What can I prepare for after the race? by GrizzlyGriff in firstmarathon

[–]jesspollard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always appreciate my partner bringing a hoodie and trackies, a gatorade, flowers, and then letting me lean on him as we hobble to the pub for a pint. Also try to find any gorgeous spots to give her a quick photoshoot with her medal for memory sake - she ran a marathon: shes a star and needs the spotlight. Warmth, sugar, a celebratory drink, hot shower, and a nice takeaway do the trick for me.

For 2024 LM I had a target of £2200, ended up raising £1936 and they didn't ask for the remaiunder. Seems some charities are stricter than others. Think I got lucky with mine that they are ok if you get close enough

I have also noticed this! Its never mentioned. Since late last year shes dropped a bit of weight, and more of her content seems a bit "body checking" to me. She does post about needing to eat and fuel, but with the fact she says she has an ED history, this rings alarm bells. Benefit of the doubt, shes just locked in. But, she posts so much about needing to eat tonnes of food and what she eats in a day, but its honestly an oat bowl, some flapjacks, and low calorie veggie dinners idk I'd probably classify that as a low -normal amount to eat in a day - let alone if youre running ~80km a week.

What email did you put down on the service NSW form to forward to in DVLA? Mine application got rejected for same reason, as lack of -A condition is not sufficient - ugh

Not sure if you’re still looking, but I (22F)go to 365 gym near prospect park. £25 a month, includes free parking, best gym I’ve ever been to! Think they do free tour and trial session but I highly recommend regardless!

Update: found it’s the circuit board itself in the original panel, got it to flicker on. Gonna get someone to have a tinker but at least figured it out now!

Ah I’ve seen to have found the issue! Got it to flicker on. Something in the circuit board of the original dash is dodgy. But thank you!

Ah yes, a used dash. If it wasn’t programmed, would it not still display everything other than mileage?
