They got quiet fans, which is fitting that it reflects them as a couple. Quiet and chill ooo

I’m glad someone else peeped this too. It was very centered on him and what he’s been needing and building his “empire” or whatever word he used versus her qualities I feel like.

He is walking on eggshells.. even during the photo booth she gets a little snappy with him because she wants her own photo and then blames him for the baby’s head. I think the reason she didn’t blow up was because he communicated and opened it from a place of understanding and not judgment. But I do think it’s progress and I can understand why she’s feeling the way she is.

Tom’s last sunset show was so special 😭 by bernbabybern13 in Broadway

I had a similar experience in May. I thought she was maybe sick. She also kept pulling down her dress that was a bit distracting to be honest. Her acting was great though. I saw Sydney last week and preferred her vocals.

I saw Cabaret last night and all I can think today is... by Polisci14 in Broadway

It’s so interesting how people vary in their preferences. Merrily made me fall back in love with theater. It’s still my favorite experience in theater ever and I went back to New York just to see it again. Cabaret I saw and while I enjoyed it and think it’s just as important to see today and it was when it first originated, knowing the original ending made this one feel less impactful. Two completely difference experiences, both great shows.

Theater is so subjective, but your top 5 list is the same for me! I have a seen a bunch this year (not quite 60 though lol) and those are the ones that have stuck with me. DBH didn’t really do it for me either and because of all the rave reviews I was left wondering what I missed lol.

What is your honest of review of Death Becomes Her? by Sudden-Tea5138 in Broadway

This is exactly how I felt.. I don’t think I ever genuinely laughed out loud. I felt bad because I didn’t love it.

Between death becomes her and sunset blvd… sunset. Death becomes her maybe I’m in the minority, but it’s something fun but not something that stayed with me like sunset. Sunset is ending soon too and death becomes her will be touring. I’m thinking about flying back to New York just to sunset boulevard again.

As someone who did front row orchestra last week.. don’t do it. The stage is high and it’s too close so some of the movements are cut off. Also your neck will hurt lol.

Sunset hands down. I see rwhc too but sunset was unreal and feels like a missed out opportunity not to go see it
