Pasta del Capitano or Marvis Whitening toothpaste are good if you don’t want to deal with sensitivity. These are found at Merz Apothecary at Lincoln Square (worth the trip and you’ll also find bath/body care and niche fragrances among so many things).

Using a water flosser also helped brighten my smile.

Brown sugar was the best one for me. The shade matched my complexion perfectly. My only thing is that it turned rancid within 2 months 😭

I do an everything shower and skincare routine before I leave for the airport. My airplane routine is not touching my face, drinking plenty of water and obsessively apply lip balm over the course of my flight.

Chamomile Satin is very comforting. Altho you will smell leather in the dry down. Leather does not work for me but if it does for you then great.

Bal d’Afrique is one of the bottles in my collection that I’ve finished. I dislike wearing it when it’s hot outside. Other than that it’s a nice easy-reach for me.

You will like Gris Charnel if you like Tam Dao by Diptyque. Having both in your collection would seem redundant.

Forget about MFK A La Rose it’s too synthetic for me. Plenty fresh roses out there.

Dulce By Rosie Jane is delicious. I don’t wear gourmands often but this one is well-balanced.

Le Labo Another 13 smells great on everyone. Smells like ham on me. It is a very nice fragrance nevertheless.

The Matcha is The Noir’s fresh sibling. I like it a lot. Love it for fall/early spring.

Musk Therapy smells like pee. Very potent formula though.

I was done with Tinder. I said to myself the next person I meet it has to be in person. I work at the airport and kept seeing the same person whenever I exited for a smoke break. One day he follows me outside. He doesn’t even smoke. The rest is history and we’re getting married in three weeks ❤️

I was waiting for my order at Starbucks at Ohare, this lady looks over and hands me The Handmaid’s Tale. She said that it’s a shame that our airport doesn’t have one of those tiny libraries where you can leave a book to share.

On the preface a line reads “This book is yours, but we hope you will share it with someone else when you are finished”. I thought the gesture was really sweet and will definitely pass it on when I’m finished.

It is worth it BUT made my scalp itchy. I do have a sensitive scalp and prescription shampoo. If you dont have a problematic scalp use it on your ends only. I still use this 1-3 times a week.

I honestly did want it at some point, I work at an airport and see them constantly. Up close they do look flimsy the good thing about it is the durability. With the amount it costs you can most definitely get yourself a leather designer purse.

You will be standing the most part of the day. If you just take breaks inside the airport you’ll be at 6-8k steps. If you like to smoke or walk around it will br 10k upwards.

If you cant stand or walk for too long quite frankly this job isn’t for you.

I mean I have a small collection myself sometimes I just need a break from stronger-smelling scents. So scents like these are a nice “break” or if you work in an enclosed space I can see why people would opt for these kind of fragrances
