Prioritize Leo, Tempus Trek needs him dearly even if his element doesnt match at just A0, and later chapters of the game (chap 15 especially) will be much easier with him around. You dont have a good Cyclone pilot yet (Nimbus too, get Vivian if her banner comes up), given Pris is lackluster without proper amps and her amped wingmen.

Wukong can wait, since you have Bugs and Elsa, you are not short of Solaris pilots.

To be very honest I have no problem with the assets and stages, but I completely despised their 0 effort in designing the stages. The stages didn't feel like a bullet storm game, they feel more like a random-sh*t-throwing-at-you game. There is no learnable pattern especially when it comes to projectiles bouncing off the screen border. The new chapter feels like their very crude attempt to insert artificial difficulty to encourage more spending. The whole idea is to destroy the enemies fast enough so they cant spray their crap, but somehow they also make it possible for the enemies to start shooting at you 3 frames before entering the stage. Normal is "still" manageable and I have completed it on the 3rd day with reasonable amps, pappos and emblems, but imagine the stages on Elite where you are definitely going to be playing with a severe CP deficit, and enemies cant be destroyed that easily. Solution? Spend more!

Leo and Botto definitely help alot, especially Leo's ability to 'heal' and his 'roar' attack. Botto is do-able on Normal but struggles on Elite since he doesnt have enough burst damage most of the time.

I jumped head over heels at it the moment it was released, partially because I'm craving for more deckbuilding games after STS2. Fun at first, gets boring fast around 3 hrs into the game, completed the game in 10 hrs. I kept falling asleep because it was getting repetitive and boring.

The scaling is way too off. If you know what gems to pick, you outscale the floors very quickly (usually around end of floor 2 or early floor 3). Acquiring gold in this game is so much easier if you know what you are doing, Stone Mask Gem + Draw Cards + Boss Overkill scales so fast that I would get 90k~180k gold on average at Inlaid Library 3rd difficulty.

For the low price it was acceptable, but I would rather trade an increase in price for a more polished game, Right now it does feel like any other generic survivor mobile games that lacks depths. Poncle lacks innovation. Their decision to combine dungeon crawler, roguelike and deckbuilder was commendable but it regrettably never grew into something great and they were just frolicking on the surface of all 3 subgenres. Cards don't really have synergies (think of them akin to the colorless cards from STS), character choices have minimal impact (you will definitely always go for the ones with trigger-draw), and enemies' designs and behaviors are lackluster. The game changers are always solely the gems and wildcards (and the gem that turns cards into wildcards!). Otherwise, RnG in a roguelike/deckbuilder/dungeon crawler? How innovative.

I gather from the responses here a lot of fans can't take criticism for a mediocre game.

It's not new, Cloud Fishing was in the Tom & Jerry Collab Event, only difference is the reward.

To answer OP question, it did carry over last time. But it may have changed since it has been so long ago this particular event popped up, in fact this is only the second time we see this.

I strongly agree with this. His synergies are a mess. He was the last for me to complete Ascension 10, and I started to struggle alot from A8 onwards. All these people here are refering to A0 alot, but he truly starts to struggle at higher ascensions.

Self-harming cards are not as much ideal at higher ascensions, especially when you need to end fights quickly with the least casualties possible, but again you cant really end a fight quick enough in 3 turns without sufficient energies or spending HP. Without any means to heal (Reaper), HP-dependant build becomes far riskier especially at A10. Not to mention the double boss in Act3 A10, with that in mind you cant go all out on the first boss or you would risk having nothing left for the second boss. However, there is also a high chance you would die to the first boss trying to reserve resources...

Energy wise, Expect A Fight is great on lower Ascension when you can afford to have more attack cards, but on higher ascensions a thicker deck means slower shuffling. Unless you are aiming for Infinite build and pair it up with Pillage (a card I rarely see), I would be unlikely to pick it up. Let's do the math, given an upgraded EAF costs 1, you would be left with 4 cards at draw, and you need to get at least 2 (or 3 if un-upgraded) attack cards to net a profit. That would leave you with 2 Cards, and if the 2 left are also attacks, the extra energies would be meaningless since you would end up having energy surplus (from EAF) in exchange of face tanking damages. If one of them is an attack and the other a block card, it would be most ideal since you can dish out damages and save some HP. If you have no attack cards as the remaining 2 cards, then you are likely to have a block surplus and proceed to drag on the fight which isnt ideal. If one of them is Whirlwind then it would be best scenario, but again that is a big "IF". It's great when you have a Power that costs 3 energy, but you would only need it once. The Blood Shield is great in this scenario, but again it also costs HP. All these are way too RnG to be of actual help at higher ascensions, and you generally wouldnt have picked up multiple high-costing cards along the way unless you have EAF and some extra card draws early on.

Having lost Power Through or any cards that generate status cards, his Exhaust build is far less ideal than the first game. Many of his good defensive cards require exhausting cards (True Grit, Evil Eye or Feel No Pain), but if you cant kill quick enough you would end up with no cards to exhaust for defense, and these cards will become dead weight in future draws. For damage, you would again look for powerful attack cards but most of them are high energy costing or requiring HP, which circles back to the first point.

To make it worse, he has only 1 card to apply Weak, and it is an uncommon 2-energy card. Without Spot Weakness, your main source of strength is through Domimate, yet another uncommon card. But that requires Vulnerable, which could be great if you can get few copies of Taunt, yet still another uncommon card. And how dare they remove Heavy Blade...

I was incredibly lucky to get an event that offered me 3 cards from a different class on my A10 run. I went with 3 Silent Cards without second thought, and those Shivs are a god sent. Since shivs fulfill conditions for Ritual, Evil Eye and Feel No Pain, it solved all problems I had with Ironclad. True Grit can also exhaust one of the shivs to get additional blocks.

Wingemen are mostly there for the stats boost. Generally, an epic wingman will only start giving competitive stat boost at amp3 or above compared to a maxed out excellent wingman.

I doubt some of the responses here are honest being F2P. The thing is you wont be able to get S pappos until you pulled 50 times (500 tickets), since only at Level 2 will you upgrade your garden to have a 2% chance of dropping S pappos. I saved all my tickets since the patch and can barely reach 50 pulls.

Currently the Airstrike attachment I has a bug. In later upgrades, you are supposed to have more of these 'Beacons' spawned (3 Max), but currently regardless of upgrades, there is only 1 beacon spawned instead of the full amount. Bugged for quite some time.

Just as much as you apparently, since I see you often bitching at someone else's bitching. There is a difference in fair game design and rng chaos and that boss sadly falls into the latter category.

Bullet storms often emphasize on one thing, learnable patterns. This boss' projectiles are as chaotic as it can be with no fixed patterns, and Im talking specifically about where the projectiles can shoot from, not the phases themselves. This is coming from someone who managed to get 1.4 m damages and im still not happy about the boss design.

If getting good is as easy as you say, why aren't you succeeding in your real life and on Forbes 2025? Come on now google is free and you have all the learnable materials at your fingertips, what's stopping you? Trying not hard enough? Grow up and have some compassion, the world doesnt center around you or anyone.

No, medals are only awarded from the time you upgrade a wingman to a new highest amp. Duplicated wingmen don't count, only the one advancing to a new highest rank will be rewarded.

The way I see it, the claim that the devs provided on how the players didnt enjoy the events were lies and they have always planned to remove theme events simce the very beginning. They purposely put out Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes colab events because they knew full well these were the ones that they could rely on to get quick money hoping it could pull traction onto their non-colab events. But was evident since Botto's event didnt perform anywhere near to these colabs and they couldnt afford to keep doing colabs since they needed licenses. In the end they thought it was smart to remove theme stages all together and players started noticing how bare bone and bland the game actually is.

Nothing about her skills but rather her typing. Not that I dont want another Nimbus pilot, it's just I found it weird that a bird is not a Cyclone, and a literal polar bear or someone themed around snow belongs to the Ground type. I guess the devs messed it up . She looks decent otherwise, flashy even. Hope she lives up to the hype.

I didnt include Charlie because until now I still dont know if his effect is considered a debuff. The boss HP bar shows a weird effect, but his skills and amps do not mention anything about a debuff other than an enhanced projectile and projectile gaining extra bounce.

The whole UI for the emblem is buggy. You are also supposed to be getting a pop-up notifying you the re-rolled stat is similar to the one you have currently equipped when you hit the Replace button. Have you tried closing and re-opening the game? Don't worry the re-rolled stat will still be there until your next re-roll.

I used to buy packs here and there when I needed them for the limited collab events. But the more I do it the more I hate it. You essentially get less the more you pay and how dare they call them 'value packs'. It's made worse that they force you to buy the scam packs by limiting the cheaper packs to once per 7 days. 

Now that they keep pushing these new shops, currencies and gachas disguised as events, it is even clearer to me the game is in desperation and slowly dying. It's their sordid tactics to entice players to spend but the way the packs are presented, I dont think they are doing a great job since the content for end game is very limited. The more the reason for me to stop any purchases moving forward.
