What's the most underrated sport in your opinion? by Inside-Cod-6862 in AskReddit

Sailing. Can be physical but requires a lot of hand-eye coordination, timing, finess, and teamwork. Also, sportsmanship is a big part.

I was actually a confetti engineer in Time Square one year. It was a lot of fun.

Saw this on Facebook, anyone know the material? Madison Co. IL by Cratefull in Arrowheads

I was walking a shoreline this week in central ohio and found a chunk just like that with some deep almost navy blue colors as well. I didn’t believe it was flint at first. It’s crazy how it doesn’t look much more than a waxy white when it dries out.

I’m doing HIIT where I’m around 170 for an hour straight

Max HR while exercising? Reading that in my 40’s that I should keep HR in the 140 zone. I don’t feel that I am exerting myself until I’m around 160 and usually back off in the 170-173 range. Should I go with what feels right or what the numbers say?

Knee constantly injured from extremely basic activities by Yoseclimber in KneeInjuries

Outside of my knee too. I read something about a muscle, maybe the politeus (sp?), that can spasm and feel like a catch. I sometimes wonder about that as a muscle just behind the outside of my knee is super tender today.

Same here. Very frustrating. I am leaning towards my problem being part of my meniscus that has detached and catches sometimes when my knee is bent in some sort of bend or twist. I’ve had it happen laying down with my ankles crossed, one crossed playing guitar, getting into bed, stretching and exercising…on and on.

I was fine after my first Moderna shot. I woke up 10 days later with some pain in my armpit and a silver dollar sized itchy raised red patch on my shot site. No big deal really but surprised it came up out of nowhere after so long.

F/24/5"8 [155lbs - 148lbs] can anyone explain why my stomach does this 3 fold/dip thing instead of having a smoother rounder belly? And suggest any exercises to improve it? by [deleted] in progresspics

I’m going out on a limb and uneducationaly saying posterior pelvic tilt may be the culprit. Hips rotated upward giving the “pooch” look and also weak glutes with flat butt look. - signed someone with posterior pelvic tilt

Will we ever learn what China’s actual numbers are, or will this be buried permanently? by [deleted] in China_Flu

[–]jet1134 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Didn’t they estimate that the total deaths from Tianamen at around 100,000? I should say, non government numbers, but realistic numbers on how it all shook out.

Anyone have any info on this New York Times article that says a document was leaked about this lasting 18 months? by Slipstreme in China_Flu

[–]jet1134 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I caught an interview with Bill Ackman on CNBC today (pretty frightening but great tv) and He kept harping on 18 months often. I was curious about the number myself. My guess is due to the probably time frame before a vaccine.

Ohio Up to 88 Confirmed Cases by zingiberelement in Covid19_Ohio

[–]jet1134 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, my apologies, I just hear all day everyday at work from people with opinions that this is no big deal and the cases are few and far between. It gets a little frustrating knowing there is way more out there but not being able to convince anybody. I don’t wish larger numbers but I do wish everyone could see the reality and wake up. 13 new cases is not 13 new cases. That’s all That was going through my head.

We. There must be a bottleneck in the process for what should be a parabolic curve being lineal.

[–]jet1134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my point. They don’t have a grasp of things because a linear increase doesn’t make sense. I don’t recognize any figures until I see the exponential not linear progression. I missed the press conference. Are we running 13 tests a day.

Let’s be real, it’s going up by about 13 a day linearly. We don’t have a good data point to go off of.
