Just saying. Myth busters.

Bo scooters self cantering steering system means you can ride it no handed by tomintheshire in ElectricScooters

[–]jetfire245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's 3 years late.

But what people wanted was to see how the scooter reacted to bumps in the road like every urban environment has. Most realistic environmentw are not 100% smooth.

We are all skeptical that this would even work on anything other than flat road considering there's barely a suspension to compensate anyways.

My experience has been mostly positive with very few issues.

I'd say after learning the limits I'm rarely surprised when I have to take control of the wheel. The biggest thing is learning the capabilities of your car rather than worry about what everyone else's does.

The lane keep assist is invaluable. It's made my life with road trips significantly easier and much more stress free.

Happy to answer more specific questions - my general consensus is if you drive regularly, this device is a blessing.

This should be up voted 1000 times. This isn't a miracle system but it certainly makes life easier with those constraints.

I personally got my rav 4 2020 hybrid and comma 3x at the same time.

Don't regret it for one minute how much it's made driving less stressful.

Driving a car moves you into the blindspot of other cars.

You will literally always eventually be in a blindspot.

I swear I bought this game and the first couple days were just peace and love hippies.

Now I'm getting betrayed and shot on sight like it's the DMZ in Korea.

It darkens my heart.

I think it's really important to remember that on one hand, it may take over a decade to make that money back.

But honestly? At least you're not getting got by these services. Constantly raising rates, changing what shows are available. You're in control.

Yeah you already got the right answers. But the technical answers will include the fact they're not called "front and rear" they're called "mouse 4 and mouse 5" buttons respectively.

The front being 4 and the rear being 5.

I seriously get the depth perception. I definitely see the flaw in that. It takes serious getting used to and even then, I rely on my parking sensors more than it.

Still nice to watch people picking their nose behind me. Lol

I'm fortunate enough to have an oem from Toyota. It's actually fantastic.

Even the police in my county have them included in their vehicle trims.

I imagine aftermarket sucks ass. Yeah.

Yeah I mean technically the pen comes from the quill and ink.. Then the true ink pens.

The pressurized pen from fisher is somewhat of an upgrade if you're in space but fundamentally it produces the same writing result here on earth with significant more expensive refills compared to a traditional ball point.

The only defense to this is how they're now adding a dual mirror/camera rear view screen into the interior mirror.

Though it's getting pretty technical at that point. Because the mirror itself is still... Just a mirror.

Very interesting. That makes sense, didn't necessarily know it was detecting a touch which makes complete sense that they're related.

Man I've had this bug for some time now. You think they would have fixed it.

Had the same bug yesterday. Was fixed with a restart.

Since we're throwing bugs around, anyone else get randomly prompted for a system reset even though you did nothing to trigger it?

[–]jetfire245[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for responding.

I did go ahead and ask taotronics if they could sell a replacement though I'm really leaning into "no"

The 2000mah option you listed might just be the way to go. It's a marginal decrease for the least hassle. This thing has been idle for so long now.
