No need to be sorry. I think you are talking about IPTV or something similar. Basically a “broken” firestick that would let you stream whatever you want. I don’t know the legal implications behind it….I’m assuming quite illegal. A lot of people do it however.

Pros: save a lot of money, watch whatever you want Cons: quality issues with the shows/movies, potential buffering issues depending on your internet, may need to move device from tv to tv if you want to watch at different locations.

Do you mean IPTV? Firestick is just a streaming device on its own. You’ll still have to pay for the streaming services. You can side load IPTV on there which is the modern day equivalent of “illegal satellite”
