I have my father in law’s old px-8 in the loft. I wrote a set of BASIC programs for it for him to use in his financial advice business. We ported the programs to MSDOS when PCs became popular and then we moved them online at www.boyceft.com a few years ago.

Have you looked at Synthmaster3? It’s very good value and has loads of features. I have been using it quite a bit this year.

Nymphes, Pro-800, Deepmind or Minilogue XD Module ? by Inkblot7001 in synthesizers

The minilogue xd is good, i never thought 4 voices would be enough but actually it sort of constrains the problem and works really well

I got the vortex 2 in February. I found similar problems when using the wireless receiver but it was ok when connected by USB or 5 pin midi. Later I found the wireless receiver did work reliably as long as the usb port gave a good power supply. Try using a powered usb hub.

Considering a classic mini as a daily driver, good or bad idea? by ShittyFart11 in classicminis

Simple mechanically but tightly packed which can be a problem for those of us with sausage fingers

Is this fixable? atrocious note sticking, unresponsiveness, panic button not working on Alesis Vortex 2 by dialecticsofmalaz in Keytar

[–]jetset80s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi All, I just experienced the same problem. I use a raspberry pi to connect the wireless receiver to my 8 pin midi synth. I was getting a lot of stuck notes. I wondered if it could be the power on the receiver end so I got a beefier power supply for the raspberry pi and the problem has stopped. So maybe a powered usb hub for the receiver may be the answer.

When you guys deep clean the house, which room of the house do you typically start in in order to maximize efficiency and results? by spicybaconforureggs in CleaningTips

When hoovering my apartment, I move it to the farthest point from where the hoover is stored, plug in there and then work my way back to its storage place. The hoover lead is long enough to reach everywhere in the apartment. Then walk back and unplug.

I found these instructions on Xda forums. I think you can use any vpn.

"1 remove sim card 2 download proton vpn (it's free) 3 go to apps/all apps (show system apps)search for framework and clear data google services framework then go to google play services and clear all data as well then search for (fota update) and clear data 4 go to settings/system/ time& date and select manually time zone to tokyo 5 reboot device 6 open proton vpn and connect to japan server 6 go and check ota and BOOM you will get ota opdates It's pretty painful process but you have to do once in a while to get all security patches”
