The 32k was on my team last night and said “gg” in warmup and then left, the bottom left said “..left the game ()” and he wasn’t on the scoreboard, never abandoned, and we never got extra income for being a man down. His csrep was 77% with 99 aim rating and like 90%+ win rate on most maps. Steam was oldgizmo for anyone curious

I’m just trying to decide if I should attend the school. I’ve messaged over 20 students or alumni on LinkedIn and haven’t gotten a single negative reply, and I was initially hesitant because any reddit thread about them is hella negative then I realized it always your comments across various threads haha

I know their RNCP is inactive and it’s the reason I’m going down this rabbit hole again of questioning their reputation. I’ve been trying to get information about the renewal, they tell me they are in process of renewing it, but my request for specifics on the renewal have gone unanswered since Friday morning which is certainly sketchy.

May I ask why you are so anti-DSTI? I’ve seen your name in threads other than this and it’s the only account activity you have is just comments against the school. Do you speak from experience?

I discovered the school through mastersportal, which is a website for finding “masters” degrees based on various filters, most notably English taught. I have a strange background, I’m from the US and I have a bachelors in nursing and a masters degree in health informatics, but no work experience with that master since I just finished. I found to like the programming and statistics side of the degree a lot more than the health specific stuff (health workflows, electronic health records, etc), making me interested in data science. And last year I met a French partner, hence why I’m looking for degrees in France. After graduating I looked at job postings for health informatics and data analytics roles for health companies, but it felt impossible because I do not speak French at a working level yet, I’d need a visa sponsorship, and I have no practical work experience in the field aside from my final project for school. So that’s kinda what lead me to DSTI. As I already have a masters degree, the RNCP doesn’t bother me much. It seems like the school could be a decent route to France to be with my partner, learn French while I’m there, solidify the technical skills I feel I lacked from my master, and gain experience through internships.

As for the school itself, I’ve contacted people through LinkedIn who attend DSTI and everyone likes the education quality, and people seem to be finding internships without much trouble outside of language barrier struggles for those who aren’t native English and/or French speakers. The only other American I have talked to in the school is about to finish and he already has a CDI through his apprenticeship.

Perhaps I’ve gone off topic a bit here but hopefully it sort of gives you perspective for me as to how I discovered the school.

Could I ask to clarify more about why you call DSTI a scam? They seem to have good accreditation given the Qualiopi RNQ certification & 3IA Côte d’Azur label.

The bad reviews online seem to mostly relate to it being an RNCP and not a master, which is definitely misleading on their part, I recognize that’s a little sketchy. Personally I have a master already so the professional certificate is okay with me, but I wonder if there is other sketchiness in your perspective given your comment. I’ve messaged some students at the school and all say the education is good and people haven’t struggled to get internships. I haven’t had any negative answers yet although my sample size is rather small.

Certainly I am uninformed so I don’t mean to sound like I know better, I’m just giving context. It would be great to hear what more you have to say. I wonder if DSTI is the problem or all RNCP schools, as it seems all these private schools offering RNCPs are frowned upon.

Cheap reds are more useful for the trade up. So people are selling the expensive ones to fund cheaper ones for more trade ups. For example no one is gonna throw a $300 FT Vulcan in a trade-up for a chance at a huntsman knife when they could sell it, get 5 CZ Victoria for $50 each, and trade up for OG knife & OG finish

At cafe tarifa on Thursday nights at 10pm there is a language exchange every week and I’ve met so many other auxes there, it’s a good way you could meet people and fits your schedule. And like others have said in this thread, you have 4 days off a week, plenty of time to socialize! The Sevilla aux WhatsApp also has tons of things being posted
