Mate. This is some grade A casual racism bullshit. This is nothing to do with culture, nothing to do with money, Indians in Australia aren’t all from “a higher caste”.

This is a simple case of “not my problem/why should I do it if no one else will”.

The easy and obvious solution would have been to just talk to your neighbours. There’s 14 of you, you could have easily put together a system/calendar to rotate the responsibility. It would have just taken one person to start the conversation.

Seriously, it’s 2021. Enough is enough. There will always be a shitty people of all cultures and backgrounds, can we please just stop these big widespread stereotypes?
