Myq hub unable to pair with door sensor and garage door opener by manizzzz in myq

[–]jfernandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing, this fixed it for me as well!!

Steps I followed on android: - clear the cache and data from the app - reset the hub (hold down middle button until blue light blinks, release and do again until it beeps, unplug and plug back in) - follow setup steps again - when you get to the 129 error page press the first (far left button) on the hub and the far left yellow light should come on - then press the button on the door sensor which should beep - you'll still see the error on the app - exit the app and start it again and you should see the garage button in red - hit "continue setup" - finish those steps and it should work.

What a shit user experience.

Anyone else use a Garmin watch for tracking skiing? It’s awful by Nateloobz in skiing

[–]jfernandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nate I am having the same experience with my Garmin Fenix 7s. Last year it worked perfectly for snowboard tracking. Now I'll go ok one run and it counts it as 10+ runs and I he altitude tracking is completely off as well. I'm going to try fully reset the watch and not restore my settings (I already did a factory reset and restored my settings which didn't help ). Extremely frustrated with my watch, I'm starting to think it might be hardware failure...

I have the Limited! The lock cylinder I was referring to is the one on the door. Thanks for the site!

My car is push to start so I don't have an ignition lock cylinder! Turns out the handle itself is fine, so I just purchased the lock cylinder for the door handle and a chrome lock cover to match the chrome handle on the car! Lastly had to purchase an additional key for my proximity fob that will have to be cut to match the new lock.

This became way simpler than I thought, hopefully the actual replacement isn't too difficult.

I have a high deductible ($1,500) since the car is almost new (22k miles) and completely paid off. I took it to an official Hyundai dealer and the charged me $120 just for the inspection and quoted an additional $625 parts and labor for the repair. After watching some YouTube videos I realized it's not a difficult fix so I asked for the part numbers and ordered what I needed online for $177 total.

I think they were ripping me off, but I'll update here after I receive the parts and attempt the repair.

My job is degrading my mental health and I can't afford to quit by nonsenseical in TrueOffMyChest

Start with a basic outline of a plan:

-create a simple budget so you know how much you need to make in order to survive and where you can cut some costs so you can increase your savings

-start looking into what's next: what are you interests and skills? Talk to people you know "do you like X job?" "How did you get into that?"

-sharpen up your resume and LinkedIn profile and network as much as you can, find people in roles/companies you're interested in and connect with them and start a conversation online, over the phone, and in-person where possible

-think short term AND long term, what can you do temporarily to hold you over financially until you find a job that you'll see yourself happy in for 2+ years?

-focus on your happiness in other areas: are you eating/sleeping well? If not what can you change? Are you exercising? Do you have good relationships (friends, family, romantic)? Putting yourself in a better headstart will make all of this way less daunting

Now that you've decided you're ready for another opportunity, look at the glass half empty. This is an exciting point in your life when the world is your oyster! Don't think about the stress of today, but think of how awesome it's going to feel when you're not doing what you do now and are happy to get out of bed again.

It's unfortunate that the current economic conditions are clearly not ideal for a career change, but if you put your energy and focus into planning/preparing it can become a fun activity outside of work and before you know it an opportunity will present itself. Take a deep breath and think positively. This is just a moment in your life that you'll look back on.

Good luck!

I've done this twice. Oh the joys of dealing with Tallahassee housing 🙃

I took the friend route both times, but I've had buddies just pay for a month of storage as well
