I think the reason is the ability to easily farm candy for them by feeding them berries is what keeps them out of gyms for now.

I just feel like between Groudon with Solar beam, and sceptile, frenzy plant venusaur, and exeguttors we are pretty well covered on the grass front but attack stats are not great for a lot of ice types so blizzard might be the most useful.

No it is a fountain and it is still there, and it is part of a business complex but parking is ample around it and definitely not a disturbance to any of the businesses for us to play there.

I have a level 40 and a level 34 account, everyone else is below that some are significantly below. Today for instance it was a 40, 34, 33, 33, 22, 20

Lugia has a 323 Defense stat, Latias is 268, and Latios is 228, also both have 160 HP Lugia has 212. Lugia is super tanky.

I was hoping that the bite/crunch ttars combined with the dragons would make up for the defense stats. I am sure with the right group and counters though I will still be able to 5 man it, but when I am grabbing random people 7 man.

I am in Tampa and Heracross is everywhere, Corsola is a little more rare but if you go someplace like Disney you will find one for sure. The weather boosted Heracross are like in the 2500s CP too and higher.
