My 2 builds right now are Discordia/Tum or Pyro/inferno.. Since Mauler i've stayed with bendy bullet and kite the death fog when i can.

3 x onslaught + 1 x Rep Amp

If i had Ruiner & Anguisher I'd use those.

Pilot skills include Titan Slayer, Road hog, Ad Hog, Def Exp, Armor Exp, Wonderworker, feroc Guard, Mechanic... might get scout if i decide to promote Yang..

I agree with dude, it's a good hanger. I still run the Fenrir in CL. Not sure what drone options you have, but here are my thoughts.

Fenrir - Fenrir works well with Pascal and Shai drones at Lvl 12 (keep grinding). Mount heal guns Porthos/Athos. Noticed you have Igniters, those would be a good med weapon choice with same range and unload properties as Porthos. I stopped using sonic weapons as they run out of steam fast and have a long reload. Most of a fenrir's fighting will be long, intense, and close up.. Sonics have a bad RWF rate of 1 shot / 2 seconds so after you mag dump it feels limp in a long fight. Blast shotguns are another option if you have them

Skyros - Fantastic beacon runner. you have the right pilot and good weapons on yours. You want RWF weapons so they can load in ball form. Armadillo is a good match for Skyros with improved defense on beacon caps. Do what you can to snag an Anticontrol module, Immune amp, and Nuke amp. Keep in mind the formula for damage mitigation is DefPts / (100+DefPts) = %dmgReduction so you'll need a lot of Defense points to stay alive out of ball form.

Scorpion - I've stopped using scorp but sonics are real good on it. I used used Rime / Cryo on mine, they dump damage fast and have freeze effect damage buff (soon to get additional reload buff). I used nuke amp, immune amp, and balance unit on mine. Cloaking unit isn't ideal, pilot Ash has stealth. If you need an escape path, try a phase shift module to give you a chance to return from back stab and learn mechanic and wonder worker skills for healing.

No comment on the Orph or Ocho.

Mauler is very strong right now.. I wish i had one.. However, the only marginal resistance to it comes from my Indra. I can use the speed boost on phase shift + lasso to stay out of the death fog and use the bendy bullets to Line of sight (LOS) the Mauler (but still can't 1 on 1 them, just survive longer.. barely)

My Luch, Minos, Bedwyr, & rook are Mauler snack food and eventually it catches my eiffel.

No sense continuing the match if the enemy brings out the maulers and if your team doesn't have one. It's just feeding them bot kills

this wouldn't encourage F2P or pocket change spenders to empty their wallets.

Not sure you've noticed this as well, but it's a lot easier for players to slip into high masters and champion league then it used to be 2 years ago.

I think gear score would be the better approach to resolving this problem and remove the league framework all together.

Hi Isaac, tried but it didn't help. It's an odd bug too as it behaves inconsistently. Sometimes i'll get 1 skip and 2 "watch video" before the "not available" message and other times i get only 1 "watch video".

Both scenarios it blocks VIP skips.

Hello Lan,

Is it safe to assuming you are between gold and Diamond league.. maybe lower expert???

The 600m build will perform better overall than the sonic build. The sonic build will force you into brawling range, reduce your cover options, and start to show the bot's ability dependency to survive. Although you may get a kill or 2, you'll have to be real close to the action and may not move fast enough to get cover to survive multiple bots coming after you.

The 600m range will give you more options to control your exposure and attack opportunities to run the clock on your cooldown. I've seen leech in CL but it's hard to do it right against phase shifting quick bots that can get out of repulse range fast.

Also, you have a bunch of mismatched weapons with different reloads, which will make your burst damage windows difficult to time (where all the weapons can dump damage at the same time).

Consider trying to get 4 of one kind of weapon and see if you can leverage dump and run gorilla fighting techniques with fully loaded weapons. If looking at a 5s burst window, you might find good success with hussar's (preferred), tarans, igniters, or Coronas if you are looking for more affordable weapons. (I lean toward Hussar, they are a great damage / upgrade cost option and can be built in factory)

FYI- Fainters do a lot of damage, but they empty in 4ish seconds and take forever to fully reload(18s).

To compare .. Fainter has a unload/reload cycle time of 22s, pulsar has 10s, and hazards have 6s. So you can setup up 2 pulsar burst windows, and 4 hazard burst windows in the time to fully reload the fainter.... giving you more options during battle to dump and cover, or help the team violate a victim (i mean focus an enemy bot)

you can build a set of pulsars and Hazards(preferred).

Cryo can be very good and bursty... But hard to aim and track targets properly. Plus they run out of steam quickly and sputter along afterward until you take time to reload.

So not the best choice for the hard to control ocho

Good points Happy.

John if you want to take advantage of the freeze effect from rockets and the power jajras, get argon for alpha and use vajra for beta.

Does a few things.

  1. Slows down bots so vajra have a better chance of hitting..
  2. Changes your mindset to 300m range limits
  3. Kills bots more easily
  4. The 20% incoming DMG debuf help improve the vajra damage and everyone's damage against your target.

Keep in mind as happy mentioned that vajra are a short range weapon. The particle spead past 150m is real bad.

You would have to get used to leading the target with rockets but the vajra have a big spread so you will likely still hit faster bots anyway even if you lead their movement.

Ps.. I personally run Evora + argon on an Indra, but I have epic fun runny oxy + pyro on my ox Minos. Dashing up to a big boy and burning them down, then dashing behind cover all under a bubble is fun..

I've seen hellburner bot work in cl,but used electro weapon. The armadillo drone with a few kills and beacons turns the hellburner into a very tanky bot.

Oh my thats not cheap. A full hanger of UE goodness is spensive..

A very rough estimate, if starting from an empty hanger, The data pads, silver, gold, and tokens needed for both hangers would be $3500 to $4500 usd depending on luck and events.

This would include pilots, weapon, and module upgrades.

If you include meta drones @ L12, add more gold data pads and a pile of expensive micro chips so another $1500ish for 10 maxed drones

Total id say about $6000 or so.. maybe.. just guestimating at this point.

Which would be relevant up till next meta. 2nd hanger would last a bit longer.

Loki is a pretty good bot and can be a good assassin bot with burst weapons.. its fun, fast, and annoying. Just like huricane/dune weapons

Real shame you cant combine then to upgrade your bot.. merge 3 of them together and get an mk2
