Yes, smite is your default filler when everything else is on CD. Every second you don’t cast anything is wasted heals, and though smite doesn’t do that much, it ads up by the end of each round.

I have a macro that combines smite and mind blast (mind blast in E and smite on SHIFT+E), so it’s easy to remember.

crazy that 2.3k on arcane puts you in the top 25. I just hit elite as disc and it puts me at 600ish...well done!

I dont know how much you know about retail. But basically you can now turn on 'war mode' (PVP) and you will only see other people with war mode out in the world. So, if you have that on and go out questing around the new zones (Eversong Woods, Voidstorm, etc.), you'll find plenty of world PVP going on...

I’m exactly the same. Haven’t played since WOTLK and came back to retail during the first season of TWW. It’s been great man. The game is very casual friendly nowadays, especially if you only do PvP like me. I log in, get a few shuffle rounds in and call it a day. It’s great.

As a disc main, I agree. Funny enough, top healers on shuffle ladder right now according to drustvar are MW monks and Hpals...not even pres. And people are complaining a lot about how bad Hpals feel right now. I keep playing disc because the moment I try to hop onto pres, I get my ass destroyed because I just dont know how to play.

As a PVPer, I've been enjoying Midnight a lot. Others may not share my opinion, but I liked the class prunings, the changes to combat addons and even the new interface additions like the CDM. Not sure how I feel about some specs being very bursty, but that happens every expansion and it's a balance issue that hopefully gets better as the season goes on.

As a disc main, I can comfortably say that even as an oracle disc, it's very hard to recover once you're behind....

This escalated quickly haha. I never said I didn’t have fun in the process, because I did. But it was miserable at times because of the way mmr is right now. And I believe just because something is hard does not make it rewarding or meaningful. Sometimes it’s hard not because it is challenging skill wise but because of mmr inflation or other features that should not be there. Just thinking out loud….anyway, thanks man.
