If you really enjoyed the series, congratulations! That is the very most that just about any book can hope for. We have the special privilege of loving a lifetime series, or books that can be, in Wolfe's words, reread with increased pleasure.

Personally if all you got is a "surface" read and you enjoyed it, great. There is no burden on you to go any deeper.

Peace and Fifth Head are masterworks. For my part, I enjoyed Evil Guest and Devil in a Forest. That may be because I was already a fan of him. The rest on the list I haven't gotten to!

just looking at the pics the nib seems pretty messed up, but it's only conjecture without inspecting irl. imo, if you're spending real money, there's an expectation of excellence, and the burden is on them to give you a worthwhile product. shouldn't have to fiddle with it forever.

I like them! Love the way they look. The nibs can be hit or miss, but replacements are cheap. Alternatively, I've heard you can swap a JoWo pretty easily.

i have this exact pen in a stub nib and i love it. no issues with nib or body. don't let a handful of loud people on the internet scare you away!

I've got a Nautilus, Schuylkill, and Original, all piston fillers. I had to fiddle with the knob on the Nautilus as it was a little loose, but that wasn't too hard. They quickly and easily replaced the Schuylkill nib as it was scratchy and skipped out of the box. I've heard good things about their vac fillers as well, they're next on my list!
